Yas: Oh, we’re live! Hello everyone. Welcome back to another week in the life of House of Valerie. What day is it? It’s Tuesday. Yeah, all day. All out of sync, actually. But it’s fun Tuesday because we’ve got I feel like a lot of people in. We’ve got Liesa, we’ve got Paula, Jade and I all modeling on the show. Half of the team has gone home sick because everyone’s caught my cold. Power of three.

Lydia (Off-Camera): Thank you, Yasmin.

Yas: Yeah, Lydia’s here, she’s powering on. But yeah, we’ve been plagued, literally a plague has hit House of Valerie, but we’re coping. We’re back to good now.

Jade (Off-Camera): It’s not that bad, honestly. If you have been around us and worried, don’t worry. It was the...

Yas: They’re doing the PR.

Jade (Off-Camera): My god, crisis management.

Yas: You can come and shop here. No need to worry, it’s just us upstairs at this place. It’s fine. I might be here now but there’s no customers around, it’s fine. Love me through the screen. But thank you everyone for my birthday wishes. It’s been a lovely time. Great being 28.

Jade (Off-Camera): What did you get? Did you get some nice presents? Harry Styles? That feels like an exciting one.

Yas: Going to Rome with my dad, that will be really fun. Been spoiled. It’s been absolutely amazing so yeah, it’s great for a birthday.

Jade (Off-Camera): By the way everyone, it wasn’t even a big birthday. And what she’s described there are presents for like a 21st or a 30th. “I’m just nipping to Rome with daddy.”

Yas: [LAUGHS]

Jade (Off-Camera): She thinks that’s normal.

Yas: Well I’m feeling very appreciated. Appreciative.

Jade (Off-Camera): What did Stefan get you? Oh, sunglasses.

Yas: Sunglasses. But they’ve had to go back.

Jade (Off-Camera): Oh.

Yas: Not because I don’t like them but because they started falling apart. It was like no...

Eve (Off-Camera): Did they? Oh my god.

Yas: I know. And we’ve sent them back or we said we’re going to send them back and they refunded us before we’ve actually even sent the parcel back.

Jade (Off-Camera): As if they knew.

Yas: So the company is all a bit... all a bit dodge. I wouldn’t recommend it. I don’t know what’s going on there but anyway, it’s fine.

Jade (Off-Camera): Are you going to get them again then when you can?

Yas: Yeah, just not from them.

Jade (Off-Camera): Yeah. Okay cool.

Yas: It’s okay. So, new arrivals. We have been in the studio today with ANNETTE GÖRTZ and as you know AEQUAMENTE went online last week and my word, it’s been flying out and you can tell. It looks incredible on every single person. On Liesa, on Paula, on Jade, on Val, on me. I can say it. We all look absolutely great and it’s just easy. It’s just so effortless pieces and you know they’re so wearable and comfortable. They look great and the colors this season are to die for.

Jade (Off-Camera): Here she is, her of the house. Come on say hello. Have a wave. She’s still in a Leopard Print. No they’re not next season. Although, if you keep wearing them Val you’re so ahead of the trend babes.

Val (Off-Camera): I feel that. I think that’s what I’m capable of.

Jade (Off-Camera): It’s like you sort of willed it into “I need to wear these trousers.”

Yas: She has been channeling the Leopard Print for a very, very long time. So yeah, I’m showing the ANNETTE GÖRTZ. Jade's got a little bit on. Liesa is going to try some on for you as well. It’s not a big delivery but some really great staple pieces this season. I know everyone always says ANNETTE GÖRTZ and the trousers, ANNETTE are fabulous, you can’t ever go wrong. But I really am feeling that this time. These trousers are phenomenal. They are the Jamy Trousers. Are you liking these Val?

Val (Off-Camera): I am loving them. They’re giving a flair of like Vivienne Westwood.

Yas: Yeah, something... you had a pair of Vivienne Westwood trousers.

Val (Off-Camera): I have a pair. Very similar. They’re the PURPLE version of that.

Yas: Gorgeous. Oh it’s like a satiny, silky fabric. It feels very suited and booted.

Jade (Off-Camera): The reason though that these work for a lot of women and that the Vivienne Westwood ones don’t is the Vivienne Westwood ones aren’t a flare, they’re a narrower leg so it can look quite like a masculine finish at the bottom, which is great for some people and obviously it’s cool, but when I try those on, it’s a bit like the skinny drop crotch that we used to do that we tend to stay away from now. That kind of jodhpuri sort of look.

Yas: The cut is so sophisticated. I really feel like now I’m 28 I can pull them off.

Jade (Off-Camera): Yeah, they are a grown up pant, aren’t they?

Yas: They’re grown up. But the reason why we bought them is we really loved mashing it with the prints. Yeah, so like a bit of this. And we’ve done this print in shorter tops as well. Oh, how gorgeous is that? Mixed with it because it’s all the same BROWN tones. And there’s another like pixelated...

Jade (Off-Camera): There’s an ORANGE-y Coat that went over that that we’d photographed Yas and she’s in the streets of Marylebone and it just looks...

Yas: I really turned heads that day, let me tell you.

Jade (Off-Camera): Oh my god, did she! It was like Spring Summer personified. It was gorgeous.

Yas: It was gorgeous, can’t wait for that to come in. It also would work with some checks, some brown checks coming in from ANNETTE GÖRTZ which we’ve all invested in and that would work as a great clash of prints because it’s subtle but it’s cool.

Jade (Off-Camera): These are definitely an evening pant as well, which is a really nice change for us because we tend to do a lot of the casual daytime trousers. We don’t necessarily put our budget in evening because obviously you do wear it less, but I think that doesn’t mean that we want to wear a less special outfit in the evening. It simply means we want to invest maybe fewer times but buy pieces that really work and I think this trouser is easily that.

Yas: They’re so flattering. I have put a bit of weight on.

Jade (Off-Camera): Oh god, where?

Yas: Honestly my diet last week: Pizza, Chinese, Pasta. Every single night, every day, every day. So yeah, these are a 36 and they’re making me feel amazing. Like I don’t need to go to the gym or cancel on the show. But they look great, really neat into the waist. They are a fixed waistband.

Jade (Off-Camera): There’s no give. I tried these on earlier. They fit, but I would size up.

Yas: Because you want them to fall gorgeous and sit well. You don’t want it clinging anywhere so go up a size. Or feeling like you’ve got to breathe in all night, not fun.

Jade (Off-Camera): No, don’t want that.

Yas: And obviously they’re long but I’ve got them on with our trusty clogs.

Jade (Off-Camera): Have you kept your socks on? Oh my god.

Yas: Yeah I have my socks on.

Jade (Off-Camera): Oh my god. Not time yet?

Yas: Yeah. I’m not ready for sandals. So yeah, I am 5'5. Normally I’m going to keep the socks on now. They would be obviously too long, but I would not alter the length because I think it just really elongates the body. Just get a chunky shoe with it.

Jade (Off-Camera): And we have got... it doesn’t look like it because we’re like 5'6 so that’s kind of normal height, but we do have short legs and we’ve got a long body so they are probably quite an average long length, yeah. You should see LIESA in them. Need to get her in them as well. So bag, this is the Rhea. They’re calling it the Rea this time. Classic ANNETTE GÖRTZ bag, can’t go wrong.

Jade (Off-Camera): Can you come forward with that one because I’m not sure we’ve captured the print?

Yas: It’s like a mottled effect. And actually, I was just looking at this piece...

Jade (Off-Camera): Yeah, it does have...

Yas: This is the Sale Calo, which I could put that on...

Jade (Off-Camera): Oh my god, yeah.

Yas: And this has like that mottled effect to it. I mean it’s now 50% off and 50% off a lot is a lot. But yeah, gorgeous. You can definitely mix and match from different collections. JADE’s doing it now.

Jade (Off-Camera): If that trouser there was an Autumn Winter pant you’d think it was a festive dressing piece, wouldn’t you? So yeah, all year round, no problem.

Yas: And then the bag to finish it off because it does have that similar kind of mottled Leather effect. Still beautifully soft. All your classics, zips, adjustable strap, you can fit everything in. It’s like crazy.

Jade (Off-Camera): That’s my favorite palette, all the browna and a bit of gold.

Yas: We love the ANNETTE GÖRTZ this season and I can’t wait for more of it to keep arriving because it’s absolutely incredible. Okay, that’s me. Who’s next?

Jade (Off-Camera): I’ll follow because I’m still on the ANNETTE GÖRTZ train.

Yas: Oh I didn’t talk about my top. Mash it up. Oh well that’s okay, we’re in the same thing. No come back.

Jade: But I just want to talk about my under piece. Okay.

Yas: Oh yeah. It’s a sale piece. It’s a viscose. Viscose knit, I will take it off. But before I do, this top bit... this is silk. 100% silk, this jumper.

Jade (Off-Camera): This top bit?

Yas: Yeah. And it doesn’t feel like a soft silk, it feels quite a rugged silk.

Jade (Off-Camera): Almost papery.

Yas: Yeah. Soft again, papery. That’s a good way to describe it. Loose weave. I’ll let Jade talk about it because she’s got it on in the exciting color. But this is my little winner from the outlet. It’s called Bill. I’m in the MEDIUM. I think we’ve got it in an EXTRA SMALL as well. Looks very different when it’s fitted. But I love the MEDIUM. I think... I mean the quality is ANNETTE GÖRTZ, it’s absolutely beautiful. It’s really stretchy. And if you are needing that little under piece that could be worn on its own, this fits that. So that’s him and I think he’s an absolute bargain, I’m sure.

Jade (Off-Camera): Don’t ask us how cheap because mom will have a seizure.

Yas: Very cheap. Search Bill on my...

Jade (Off-Camera): No don’t go.

Jade: Okay, so I have mashed up Autumn Winter with the new arrival from Spring Summer because I’d already tried the suit behind me which I absolutely love. So I know that those trousers work and I thought hang on a minute, I think these Leather trousers could come through into Spring Summer without any problem. Obviously these come in black as well and the yellow and the blue. yellow and blue, clearly perfect for Spring Summer. But I think burgandy's all year round as well. I don’t think that’s something we can shy away from, I think it’s gorgeous. It’s very... these colors together with the deep red and then the pop of blue, it’s a very Gucci kind of inspired pairing, which I just absolutely love. I love all the sort of different rich colors together and then pops of fun in the middle. I just can’t stop speaking, PAULA! What’s wrong with me?

Paula: Let’s go there shall we. Had a day.

Jade: Had a day. It’s been funny. Anyway, what’s he called, luv? Do you remember?

Yas: Lotus.

Jade: Lotus! What is this one underneath? A little under piece.

Yas: Oh from SORT AARHUS.

Jade: This one. And the color crossed back on it? Yeah. Sorry I’ve got my bra bum showing a little bit on that but it’s just a little bit less offensive than you know a proper proper vest. Although the one Yas has got on is definitely the best. This is a SMALL. If I was to purchase this I would actually go up a size because it’s quite neat and I like the look of it where it’s a little bit more oversized, a little bit longer. But this is how it should fit so I didn’t do that because I thought I’ll play with how it should be and then we can mash it up another day. But I just think the color is absolutely beautiful and the weaving is gorgeous. It’s the kind of thing that you need to look after. Don’t hang it up. Keep it beautifully folded and don’t get yourself caught on any doors which is something that I do all the time. I shouldn’t be allowed clothes actually because I just am the most clumsy person in the whole world. I fall over my own shadows. When people say “Oh how do you get about in these?” I think well I fall over just as equally all the rest of the time. Because it’s true. These are a 38 in the Sabia and they’re perfect. And then yeah, SMALL. Okay, who’s next?

Paula: It is Miss AEQUAMENTE 2026. I absolutely love AEQUAMENTE and I’m so excited because I’ve picked up my first piece today that when I came in I got a little message from Yas “Come and pick up your stuff.” Get it out the studio. So yeah, love AEQUAMENTE. I’m going to start with my feet because that’s how I normally do. These are the SORT AARHUS. Now I have to say that our Liesa has been talking about these Dolly shoes being brilliant and I’ve really given her a hard time saying no. However, at the weekend I’ve fallen and of course she’s now saying “Told you, told you.” They’re very, very comfortable and the colors that the team have chosen match so well with the clothes whichever designer that you’ll go with, the Dolly shoes will go. Some of the colors are just wonderful. London Powder, Rose... oh you name it. Anyway, I’m in size 39. Now these for me fit me perfectly. 38 might be a little bit small for me, but 39 fit me brilliantly. The color goes great with this AEQUAMENTE suit. The color is called LEGNO. L-E-G-N-O. Size wise ladies and gentlemen, I’m in 38. Normally I would be a 36 but these are the ones I’ve been given and the mood that Yas was in I was not going to argue with her. They’ve got a nice elasticated back so you’ve got a little bit of give. Little side pocket. Zip front. Lovely. Straight leg. Little bit of a split at the ankle which I think is really attractive and a little bit of stitching there as well just to give a point of interest. The underneath is a Cotton top, I’ll show you in a sec. Scarf of course, silk. Beautiful. Not an itch in sight because it is so soft on my skin. Lovely size. Beautiful, beautiful. And particularly with the you know moving into the Spring Summer and it’s still a little bit cool, these are ideal. So can I give you that please? Thank you. The jacket, the jacket is size 34. It’s a shorter version. I think... have you got the big... you’ve got the flared version? Yeah. It’s so nice. Mandarin collar and you may notice that the pockets are dropping down again just to give a little bit of interest. That’s the back. Little split again. I love that crumpled lived in look. Beautiful. And then I’ll show you the top underneath. Again size 34, which fit me... I’m not going to completely take the jacket off because I’m milk bottle white and it’s not nice. Just go down there that’s it. Look at that. Gorgeous. This is size 34 as well. Just lovely. It’s flying off though, the AEQUAMENTE, I thought it might though. There you go my lovelies. We’ve got LIESA on now. Gorgeous LIESA. Thank you.

Liesa: Yippie! I’ve got the pleasure of wearing AEQUAMENTE also. So I’ve mixed up the SAND color and the CHALK color. Which I think works really well. So this is the SAND Scarf, Cashmere style scarf, which PAULA’S just shown it, but that’s the SAND version. And then I’ve triple bagged. So I’ve got the wider jacket in the SAND color. This has got the little turnover collar. Oh LIESA do you need a picture? That one. Oh you’ve already done one LIESA? Oh I did, for the second outfit, sorry. Ignore me. So it’s slightly A-line this one and we’ve got the side pockets. So then you can undo that and you can see all the little layers underneath. Oh LIESA! Gorgeous isn’t it? I love all the combinations together. I must admit Yas dressed me. Did she? She did. She’s good isn’t she? She is. And I was more than happy to put this on, I was like “Yes please.” Gorgeous. This is my favorite shape of jacket. I am so sad that I didn’t order this. I knew I wanted it but I just couldn’t stretch to it and now I’m already regretting it. Look at it, it’s gorgeous. This is the full CHALK with the little Mandarin collar. It’s just what PAULA had on so I can’t really talk too much. The pockets like you said dropped there. What size jacket was I wearing? Sorry. Sorry. Oh in a 34 in the SAND. Oh so you’ve layered the CHALK with the SAND. Nice. Isn’t it? I just love the way that the buttons just sort of disappear into the outfit. So nice. I don’t want to take it off. It’s very chic isn’t it? It will just never date. No. Oh. I’m wearing a 34 in the fitted one and the lining is beautiful as well, Cotton lined. And then look at the cute little top. So nice. I’m wearing a 36 in this because we’ve already sold out of the 34, it’s selling that quick. And I’m wearing a 36 trouser, I think. Let me just check or was it a 38? No, 36. This is a size I would go for because it’s giving me a little bit of room so it’s just dropping down slightly and I think it’s a perfect length on me. Fixed waistband at the back... oh elasticated at the back. Nice fixed pocket front, sorry front waistband. It just sits perfectly. Feel very Japanese. I don’t know why I just oh it’s gorgeous. I love the shoes as well, they look so cute. Like I said they’re cool girl shoes aren’t they? Added their cool girl shoes yeah they’re like understated. These are for us ladies that can’t wear the giant clogs that they’re all wearing. These are a little bit safer. Lovely neutral color so it will go with everything in the summer I think. It’s lovely. Running home in this I could. That’s me. Who’s next? I’ll like the flowers bed. Up up up. She’s making it up as she goes along Yas. She doesn’t... oh yeah that’s better. She’s taken over? Yeah gorgeous. I don’t know why I didn’t open them before.

Yas: So yeah, these are the new ANNETTE GÖRTZ Trousers. Ah that’s where. Yeah they’re fab. Like I know they may seem boring on the on first look because they’re the classic Black pant, but they are absolutely incredible. The cut is to die for and it’s that really stretchy fabric. So it’s going to work for so many people. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. And this time they do this fabric but for me they never do a shape that I would wear every day. They do quite a classic straighter kind of cigarette style trouser. But for me like that short... you know how I always go on and on and on about having a trouser that’s wide but cropped and not full length. This is the summer version and I’m absolutely in love for. Works beautifully with the shoes you’ve got on. Yeah. Yeah, that they’re the trouser to have for those shoes. Because I think those shoes can be a bit “what what are these doing what am I wearing them with?” You need a short trouser style trouser definitely. Unless you’re really tall like LIESA and then you can wear a wide linen and it be that. Yeah, yeah, they’re just gorgeous. These are the perforated SORT AARHUS shoes. And they are slightly different to last time because they are holy. Which I actually like. I my feet get quite warm in these. When the summer I’ll be thankful of the hole. But they’re great, they’re so comfortable. I can’t tell you how comfortable that perforated Leather on the top... I can’t believe that either, it’s incredible, so gorgeous. So this is the Dondus I think it’s called. Let me just double check. Duras. D-U-R-A-S. I’ve got it on the SMALL. It’s SILK. It’s absolutely beautiful. You know if you’ve got any weddings and want to throw this over just like a simple dress or even trouser like we’ve done. It’s just effortless. Or just if you love it. If you just love the print just wear it everywhere. Wear it, yeah, wear it for lunch. That’s where I was going girls. I was like you’re going to get more looks for your money because I think it looks great layered under things as well. Like this big coat we’ve got we’ve got more ANNETTE GÖRTZ coming that would work over the top of this and just that print peaking out is just delicious. Imagine this on a holiday and you’ve got your beach wear on and then you put this on to go for a light lunch. Not that light because let’s be honest the bread is delicious. Garlic aioli. Yeah, yeah, mine would need a massive steam but I’d try and make it pretty maybe I’d put some tissue round it. You know those beautiful people that we see occasionally on holiday that seem like they’ve got their shit together? That could be us. That could be us Yas in this. And these trousers, these trousers are beautiful. They’re very lightweight for packing as well those trousers. They’re a little bit like a seersucker. Yeah they are, like a stretchy techno-y fabric. They’re called Binko. And I’m size 36 and they come in a few colors actually. They got the brown which also works... that’s a different... is that... oh yeah so lovely. And LIESA is going to show you the cream in a sec. So over to PAULA.

Paula: Get a load of these denim pants. Look at them little Dolly Dazzlers. Size 36. I love the fact that you’ve got this little bit of stitching here, well no raw edge, just brings you in doesn’t it? That’s lovely. They are fixed so no real movement in them. The 36 for me are absolutely Bob on. I didn’t start on my feet but I’m going to point down to my feet, back to the Dollies. These are size 38 and a half and I’m now have now decided that if I’m going to buy a pair of the Dollies which it looks like is going to be getting on the card, I’d go for 38 and a half or 39. I think the 38 are going to be a wee bit small even though they are SORT AARHUS and generally I would have a 38 but now I’ve tried on 38 and a half and 39. That’s the size for me if you need any guidance. The pant size 34 gorgeous denim, just a bit more posh than a general denim. You can either wear them up or down depends on your mood. Pink to make the boys a wink. This will be an everyday denim for me going forward. Size 34 this is the sort of smaller box jacket, again the pockets are coming down a little bit lower it just gives it a point of difference. Isn’t the color divine? You’ve got some... you can undo these and take the sleeve up if you wish. You know at this time of year we’re not going to do that but as it gets a bit warmer you can casual it up. Scarf is the ROSA color. Again the silk scarf. That’s the back. I’m not going to take the top off because you’ll just it’s not Friday, let’s just say that. And this is the scarf in all its glory. How gorgeous is this? It feels beautiful or it looks like it feels beautiful. It’s just divine. Yeah look at that it’s a PEACH-y PINK isn’t it? It’s just delicious. There, look at that girls isn’t it gorgeous? Just beautiful. Okay, that’s me done. LIESA’S on next. [INAUDIBLE] LIESA.

Liesa: Oh I need to do a picture didn’t I? Oh. And get one [INAUDIBLE] isn’t it? Yeah. Lovely thank you. So I’ve got a bit of the ANNETTE GÖRTZ on. Same as what Yas had on but the other colorway. That is divine. Gorgeous isn’t it? Needs a little bit of steam I think just on the neck so it just sits right but oh it’s just gorgeous. Duras. I am wearing a SMALL. Just want to float through Rome Yas. You look like a posh hippie. Oh. That’s so gorgeous. Gorgeous I love it. So yeah, this is what Yas had on just before you take it off I really want to see this color. Oh yeah. This is the AEQUAMENTE. But that works really well. Yeah. And it would dress it down as well because it’s that crinkly fabric. But the AEQUAMENTE under piece on as well so you’ve got a full matching color that’s underneath and you use that got it. Here it is. Oh yeah clever. Yeah. So I would wear it like that. Oh. Gorgeous. Like that. Beautiful. Beautiful. Lovely. There’s quite a lot with that shirt, a lot of base colors. Yeah there’s a lot you can do with it. It’s just gorgeous. So I’ve just got JADE’S little SORT AARHUS under piece on and then I’ve got the same trousers I just I thought it would go with it I don’t know if it’s too bright. It it does go, I’ve seen it together. Yeah because look you’ve got that. Might go with this a bit more because this looks a bit more vibrant. Come in wiggling. I would definitely put that under. There is a AEQUAMENTE one that’s not online yet but will be that is that color as well. So linen. Yeah that there is only one unfortunately but that will be available. Yeah and that I think line dresses things up slightly as well as down slightly depending on what piece you’re talking about. It’s a good one. So I have got the same trousers as Yas on in as well in that Binko in a 36 the very lovely little tiny waistband is fitted. I think if I was going to have them I would just size up a little bit just to make them a little bit longer for me but they are an absolute perfect fit. Excuse my dark underwear. Got to get into the summer gear and get the normal stuff out. But they are gorgeous aren’t they? That’s us isn’t it? Yeah. All good. Yeah. Oh yeah yeah. Bit of a pink-y in between.
