Yas : Yay, we're working. Hello ladies, welcome back. I feel like it's, we're at the end of the week already and we're almost there. It's Thursday. It's been a long week, hasn't it? I just got... it always is when you come back from holiday though, and the nights are long and the days are short and it's absolutely freezing outside but it's been a really, really exciting week at House of Valerie. As you all know, it's our one year anniversary, technically. I think it was today? Yeah. Definitely... well, if, it was probably Saturday last year that we celebrated the rebrand. Which is just mental to think that it's been a whole year since then. And as Val was saying on last night's show, what an amazing party. I don't think we'll ever, ever live it down. So yeah, we've had a lovely few days in store, just celebrating with those of you that have come in to join us and have a little play with the collections because we're getting to that point of the season where... that little word sneaks up. Sale so we're going to announce it now.

Today, we are officially launching the countdown to Black Friday. Woo hoo! Cheers! The Black Friday sale goes live tonight at midnight. A little bit earlier. Just poise yourself, be ready, fill your baskets, get your wishlists sorted. And you can browse the collection by searching 'The Countdown' on the website and that'll bring up a collection for you to have a look at and just peruse and see what pieces are in the sale and what pieces aren't. Just a little word of warning. RUNDHOLZ have changed their sale terms this season, so no black pieces from any of the three collections will be entering the sale and there'll be more information to follow on that, but if you've got any questions just let us know but for now we've got Kirstie, Paula, Leisa and me and we've all styled a couple of outfits from the sale pieces. I'm wearing my absolute favourite, the Flamingo leather. And I've grabbed myself a little cheeky glass of Prosecco. I'll pop this down though because I don't want, I don't want to be spilling Prosecco on leather. I've got a tendency to destroy leather.

So yeah, my outfit is RUNDHOLZ. I did try to steer clear of it but I saw everyone else was giving the other designers a bit of a chance and everyone looks amazing. So I went to my favourite, RUNDHOLZ DIP. I'm in this absolutely incredible Flamingo Pink Suit. You just can't, you can't believe that at this point in the season we've got a pink suit left. It's incredible. And even that it's here at all. I mean, pink and RUNDHOLZ don't often go hand in hand, but this season we've got the full BLACK LABEL collection that's just really bold and vibrant and this beautiful dusty Flamingo from RUNDHOLZ DIP. So very blessed with this gorgeous season that we're having. So, I've styled it with the Turf. I've got this gorgeous soft, I think it's a Merino wool and Yak mix scarf from MAINLINE. It's the Turf, which as you know, goes with absolutely everything. I'll eat my hat if it, if you find something that it doesn't go with. It's just perfect. It's just a great alternative to black if you want something a bit warmer against the skin and not as harsh as black.The jacket is an extra small. Is it a little bit snug or is it okay? It is the extra small. And I, I like the fact that it's small 'cause with leather it tends to grow as you wear it. So I would opt for this size personally, but it's got all the beautiful details. It's a really soft leather. It's quite structured but really soft to touch. It's beautiful. So you've got the two big pockets. I won't go on and on because you've seen this before, but I just wanted to show you the sizes. Trousers are a size small, so they're sitting a bit lower, a little bit slouchier, on the waist which I like. So that slouchy fit. And then I've got Turf Shoes on, on my shoes.

Liesa : Good afternoon everybody. I have gone for a mix up with PAS DE CALAIS, LA VACA LOCA and ALEKSANDR MANAMIS. So I'll start with the scarf so I can de-layer 'cause I've been standing around for a while. It's the beautiful wool scarf which has, this is ALEKSANDR MANAMIS, it's got, I don't know if you can see that, little red stripe through it. Which does replicate on the jacket, hence why I've got the little red underpiece on. Thank you Paula. So this beautiful velour Jacket. It's just stunning. I think I'm in a size 1. It's quite a neat fit. Gorgeous. Love it. Got the big turn ups with your, your lovely wooden looking buttons on. Even the lining's got a little, little red stripe on it. Have we got a gun pocket, is that what you call it?

Paula : Pistol pocket.

Liesa : Pistol pocket. Pistol pouch pocket. So you can put your pistol in there. Or your mobile phone, you know. Things do change. But it's absolutely stunning. It's also got like a crinkle to it. So it looks really vintage looking. But it's really a lovely heavy, fully lined piece. Thank you. Yeah that's a size 1. So then this is the beautiful  PAS DE CALAIS Jacket. I was inspired 'cause we had a customer in this morning to try this on. This is full wool. It's like a brownie green, sort of khaki colour I would say. It's quite a boxy fit. I'm in a 34. The back. Fits nice on the shoulders so I think this is probably the right size. Is that mine? Yes. We've got a lovely cotton lining. Quite a classic shape I would say, it would never really date. Yeah, lovely cotton lining in it. Really warm. Light but warm. So I've got the matching Trousers on. They do come in two styles these. These are the longer style with the elasticated back. I am in a 38, so they are dropping down a little bit. But I quite like that. And then I've done a little turn up. So if I'd sized up and they lifted up I wouldn't have been able to do the turn up. So I do quite like that. And then the other shape are shorter and you've got a little popper on them I think, so they bring them in a little bit more balloon whereas these are more a proper traditional, tr- oh, can't say that can you? With these teeth. Traditional... traditional trouser. No drop crotch for those of you out there that don't like a drop crotch 'cause they're not for everybody. And then I've got one of my favourite LA VACA LOCA Tops on. It's like a rusty, rusty red. It's the one where you've got all the extra fabric on one side. So it looks like it's twisted but it's actually not. The perfect long cuffs. Stand up collar. So you can poke it all out in the right places. That makes sense? Saying some funny words today aren't I? We've not eaten yet today. I feel like, uh, my blood sugar might drop.

Kirstie : No we've had lemon drizzle cake.

Liesa : Oh yeah, that'll be why.

Kirstie : And cheese and crackers.

Liesa : I mean we've not had lunch. I haven't had cheese and crackers.

Kirstie : Oh we have.

Liesa : Just had a bit of lemon cake.

Eve : Claire Hughes says "Hi lovelies."

Liesa : Hi Claire! How are you? And then I've got my favourite SORT AARHUS Boots on. They're all laughing at me 'cause I know the code. 8921. They're the ones with the little line across, the little toe cap across. I love them. They're the tight ones. They go with absolutely everything. And I'm wearing a 39 and I am a 40 and they fit me. So that's me. Sorry. One tickety-boo. I will put it all on top of this. Sorry guys. Ah, dropped it. That's what, we just slipped this beautiful wool dip jacket on with it. Which I think works really well. So this is the wool version of what Yas had on. It's got all the little origami style pockets. It's stunning. This is extra small. I think if I was going to have it I would have it a bit oversized 'cause I think a wool jacket is meant to be a little bit bigger isn't it? You want to really wear it 'cause it's a, it's a beautiful piece and you want to get your wear out of it. So you know me, I'd wear a little jacket underneath and then this over the top like a coat. So that's me and this is the Pine. Here's Paula.

Paula : I'm going to walk slowly because I'm in very high clogs and I normally wouldn't. Oh good evening. Or good afternoon and I'm in size 39. These are the SORT AARHUS, they do have a strap at the back as well. So you can have them strapless or not. But I like the strap on 'cause I feel a bit more comfortable. I wouldn't normally wear them this high because I'm tall and I don't like to be too towering. But I put them on because I'm wearing the Sabia Leather Pant and they are two sizes too big. So I've wanted them to look better to show them off so I put a higher shoe. I feel like I'm waddling. So I've gone with the LA VACA LOCA. Thought this colour warranted with the pant. I think it looks really well with it and what I love about this coat is it's got a very regal Edwardian look to it. Nice and warm. It's like a soft felt with these lovely raw edges. Cotton raw edges. And I put the LA VACA LOCA, so the same top as, as Liesa but in this sort of bone ivory colour. 'Cause I wanted a, a higher neckline 'cause Edwardians would have a higher neckline. So I wanted to follow that kind of thing. At the back, you, you've got, you know, you can see the pant, a lot more. I'll just undo this. Size. So the size I'm in is small. S/M. And I'm more than happy with that size. This is the underpiece. What? S/M. So it, it looks a little bit odd because I've pulled them right up. There you go, you see. But this, they're great underpieces because they're very, very soft. Just too big and they feel nice next to your skin. And as Liesa said, you can do a lot with them. You can twist them round, have them longer put your jumpers over them or a shirt over them. So they're ever so versatile and nice and warm. And again good next to my skin. And then I've gone with the Edmo glove because I'm actually obsessed with these lovely gloves. The ANNETTE GÖRTZ leather is always superb. And these are the wide leg ones. And I think they, I think I'll just, just wish they fit me. But they don't. But some lucky lady is going to have these and really, really enjoy them. So I'll go off. Kirstie's coming on. Kirstie : I'm in the right place? Good afternoon. I've mixed up PLU with BLACK LABEL and I'm really surprised that all this goes together. It's a, it's a suit we play for. I really didn't think these Trousers were going to suit me but I like the length of them because they almost look like a skirt and they're super comfy. These are the extra small. They're a fixed waistband but they're just super cool. And so different with a wide leg. And then we noticed at the bottom you've got a little waistband as well where it's repeated. Really cool. And with the fading at the front.

Yas : Lovely shape on you Kirst. They're actually a really similar tone to the RUNDHOLZ MAINLINE Jean. So they're a great one if you got the jacket or something and you want a cropped length trouser to go with it rather than the really long ones from MAINLINE.

Kirstie : Yeah. I was really surprised. I thought I need to try them on 'cause I thought they were going to, 'cause sometimes be too long but I think they're a nice length.

Yas : Yeah. Look great with a chunky boot.

Kirstie : Yeah. Don't make me look too short.

Yas : No.

Kirstie : So I put the, the jacket on, the PLU Jacket. This lovely shape. I've gone for the medium 'cause I wanted it to be oversized but look at the shape of that. It's gorgeous. And you've got the detail at the back.

Yas : Yeah, you've got that tie at the back that you can just cinch in.

Kirstie : Really light jacket and it's just such a nice shape with the collar.

Yas : Ah, Blonde Bob says "suit looks super coolio."

Kirstie : Coolio.

Yas : Coolio.

Kirstie : Then this Jumper is a surprise as well. 'Cause I've not had this on before. And it really reminds me...Well, it reminded me of the FRIDA ZAZOU one and that was mega bucks wasn't it? It was so expensive. And it was a gorgeous jumper. We might have one left, I don't know. But it's that same like tomatoey red that's just really flattering. Such a strong colour. Looks great.

Yas : Yeah. And the neckline's amazing.

Kirstie : I know. It's lovely. I've just, over just folded it in but, yeah, it's gorgeous. I've gone for the medium. I usually go for croppier ones but I like the length of this. Like how it just dips round a little bit at the back.

Leah : Yeah, gorgeous.

Kirstie : Just covers your bum off, but yeah the neck comes out so you can have it a little bit more if you want to but I think it suits me better like that.

Yas : Yeah, it looks really like structured like that. It's cool.

Kirstie : Really cool.

Yas : Nice Kirst.

Kirstie : Here's Yas.

Yas : Hello. Okay, so this is my second outfit and I am a big fan of this. I absolutely love this look. We've mixed up a few of the designers. I've started with the DIP Trousers as my staple piece that I wanted to style everything with and they're fab because they're so lightweight. They're a really light cotton voile fabric so great to get warm,  around... you know, if you're all layered up for winter. Even though it's warm outside you want to just keep your warm layers up at the top. These are a great base and will take you through to Spring next year because they're so light. I can easily see Val wearing these with a pair of sandals in the summer. She'd definitely pull that look off they're fab. They've got all the colours, um, of this backside print working through it. You've got the inky bluey black, typography. More bold black pieces. And then this gorgeous little postage stamp on my leg there which is this rusty brownie crabby colour. Or as are RUNDHOLZ calling it, Crab and it goes perfectly with this HANNOH WESSEL coat. Which I love. It's a classic HANNOH WESSEL coat in that it's got that gorgeous crinkly worn fabric. And it's the kind of coat that the more you wear it, the better it looks Kind of a bit battered and worn. Looks brilliant. I'm wearing it in a size 38. And it fits perfectly. I would probably stick with this size for myself.

I've managed to get a really thick chunky jumper underneath and I'm not feeling constricted. I've got plenty of movement. And I love this double belt detail at the back. That's really really sweet. And it's not too heavy either. It's a great one if you're wearing chunky jumpers and just want something to throw on over the top. So it is lined but it's not quilted at all. It's a really soft medium weight coat. This Scarf however is very warm. It's the RUNDHOLZ MAINLINE Raccoon. And this is the full size which is basically big enough to be a blanket. Absolutely enormous. Look at that. It's a lot of fabric going on there. I'd quite like to be snuggled up in that and they are very very expensive. But if you would prefer a smaller size or half a size, we can absolutely do that for you. Just let us know and we will have our brilliant seamstress halve them for you. So there's the collar on the coat. Really lovely. Nice on the shoulder. It's a drop shoulder so even if you did want to go up a size it doesn't look silly. It doesn't look like you're wearing someone else's coat. It just slopes beautifully. And then underneath I've got the matching RUNDHOLZ MAINLINE Raccoon Pullover in the Turf, of course. My favourite colour. Which really works with the SORT AARHUS Boots and just pulls through all the brown tones in the look. So that's me. Who's next? Liesa.

Liesa : Okay. I've gone a bit party now. So... this is about really how undressed I was going out. This I've just popped on last thing so it keeps me nice and snuggly warm. This is the shorter one in the BLACK LABEL. I know black isn't in the sale but I just thought I'd show it because I love it. It's a little... I love, I love the way the collar stands up. And it's got these little clasps here. Fasten it. I mean, black never dates does it? That's why it's never in the sale. So now on... what size am I wearing? Medium I'm wearing in that. Thank you very much. And then now I am really ready to party. Look at this outfit. Stunning. So I've got the little wool SORT AARHUS Jacket on. I'm wearing extra small in this. Which is just such a perfect fit. Just nips in at the waist. It's, it's cut on a curve. I don't know if that's coming across. And then little patch pockets. It's just timeless. Beautiful. So you've got little shoulder pads in. Really nice.

Yas : That's your favourite look, isn't it? She loves that jacket. Beverly Spellman has asked, “are we able to try on the Navy HANNOH puffer in a 34?” Yes. Is there anyone in particular that you'd like to try it on Beverly? If not we'll just grab it and go. Sorry back to you Liesa.

Liesa : Right. And then I've got the leather ANNETTE GÖRTZ Samir Trouser on in the light brown. These are a size 34. And they are perfect fit on me. Me and Paula have got these in black.

Paula : We have.

Liesa : They are very very... I think you could wear them dressed, dressed up like this or you can wear them casual. I wear them with trainers as well. And then I've gone... I've not worn these boots before. The LOFINA’S with a heel. And I really like them. I'm wearing a 39. I don't know how I'm getting away with that but my toes are literally just on the edge. So I would probably need a 39 and a half. But they don't feel like you've got a heel on at all. They're really comfy. You've got these haven't you? From past seasons.

Paula : Yeah.

Liesa : And they just make it a little, a chunky shoe with a heel. Just makes it look a little bit dressier and 'cause they got the tight ankle again. I've got be careful 'cause I got leggings on under here so it looks scaly. I'll show you how high they go. Oh, just to there look. That little ankle length. But they're the tight ankles again which are my favourite. So it just pulls it in, shows off the little kick flare of the leather trouser. And then underneath I have the same top as I had on before 'cause they are my favourite. I just love the way it drapes. And this is in Small/Medium. Show you from behind. That's nice as a look. Here's Paula.

Paula : Hey hey hey. So I've gone for my go-to favourite colour for the autumn winter and that's the khaki colour. So starting with my feet, these are my favourite Boots. They're in Gas Cactus. But they've got a, a green look to them. They're very comfortable, laces right up to the sort of mid calf.

Yas : Ah that is such a gorgeous outfit Paula. Love that.

Paula : Thank you. And my favorite pant. I've, I've got so many pairs of these AEQUAMENTE Pants. I love them so much because I don't tend to wear jeans really now the odd pair occasionally but these are my go-to casual jean. But also I know I can dress them up and look good in them. Because they, they just a lovely pair. They feel comfortable. I love the material and again they're great next to my skin. So the shoes are size 38. The pant is size 36. And I'm very happy with that size. It is elasticated waist so it's very comfortable on my waist. And they pull ons. So no zip for some people don't like zip so it's nice and soft on your sk- again on your skin. And then I've gone with the ALEKSANDR MANAMIS Shirt, size 1. It is beautiful. And the detail that this guy comes up with, the designer. Got the pockets here.

Yas : It's gorgeous.

Paula : The colour is beautiful.

Yas : It really brings all the different tones of green in.

Paula : It, it is. It's so nice. And I've left, I, I didn't want to do a tuck because the shirt is so gorgeous I didn't want to spoil the line of it. That's the back. And then I put on because it's getting a bit chilly now, the Eve ANNETTE GÖRTZ. It's like a little shawl with a hood. And I thought that, you know, I really fancied it. I thought oh yeah I think I'll put that on now. And I like it very very much. This is size small. There you go. And I think it just brings everything together. And then I'm going to show you another jacket that you can wear with this outfit.

Yas : I didn't realise but I think everyone's worn this jacket tonight. The one that you're about to put on.

Paula : No.

Yas : Yeah.

Paula : No?

Yas : No?

Leisa : Well...

Yas : It's 'cause we've just sold the suit.

Paula : Oh it probably is yeah. Thank you.

Yas : It's fab. Not, we've not tried this on so we don't know if it works but I think it will.

Paula : I think it will. 'Cause it's, again it's, it's short enough to, to maintain the look of the shirt. 'Cause I think it's a shame not to show the shirt off. But the, the jacket is...

Yas : Yeah it looks fab.

Paula : Lovely. Gorgeous isn't it? But these are my favourite pants. There you go.

Yas : Gorgeous Paula. Love that look. I'm just going to quickly hop on 'cause I've got, the jacket that Bev asked for. This is HANNOH WESSEL Puffer coat. I hope this is the right one Bev. It's the navy. It's the only one that we've got in navy and this is the longer length and it's a size 34. I'm wearing it under the really chunky raccoon so bear that in mind. It might be feel, it might look a little bit puffy here but it doesn't feel it if you know what I mean. I'd probably wear a lighter piece underneath 'cause they're so insulating anyway you wouldn't need, something as warm as a raccoon on underneath. But that's the jacket. And it comes in the red and the chalk colour too. And I think... Has it got? No this one, it's the shorter one that has the knitted cuffs isn't it? It's not this one. But gorgeous piece. So lightweight. It's absolutely ridiculous. I've done this before. But it's one of those like miracle coats where you can really just... It's so compactable. Is that even a word?

Paula : You could just disappear don't you?

Yas : Yeah. It's like a sleeping bag. But it's so warm and so insulated.

Paula : Brilliant tiny little bag for if you're traveling.

Kirstie : Yeah if you're traveling I think it's perfect. 'Cause I hate that when you, when you're going abroad and you're going to a colder country and you've got to pack a big coat that takes up so much space. I'd rather not. I'd rather save more space for clothes. Is it me?  So you'll see the jacket again but in a different colour. This is, is it Cream?

Yas : Yeah.

Kirstie : I think it is.

Yas : Let's go with that.

Kirstie : I think it is. Yes so the same Jacket so I've just put the, the Trouser on with it.

Yas : Yeah. We just sold this as a wedding guest outfit haven't we?

Kirstie : Yeah.

Yas : In the camel.

Kirstie : In the camel. Yeah.

Yas : Yeah. I could definitely see someone wearing that to a wedding. I think it's so gorgeous.

Kirstie : Oh yeah. It's beautiful. The fabric's lovely. Yeah. Trousers. And you can just, we said to her you can use it again and wear it with jeans, the jacket with jeans and the trousers with a knit. And it isn't just a wedding outfit then. But yeah it's a super suit. I love it. And we paired it with the SORT AARHUS, uh, chock... chocolate? wha-

Yas : I don't know a word for it.

Kirstie : I don't know a word for it.

Yas : It might be chocolate. It looks a bit mauvey, a bit taupey maybe. Mushroomy.

Kirstie : It brings out the little fleck in the jacket.  think better. It's like an oatmeal-y colour then.

Yas : Yeah. It really warms it all up.

Kirstie : Yeah. Gorgeous. Just small.

Yas : And they're a bargain as well the little t-shirts. So with 30% off as well girls you're going to be...

Kirstie : They come in so handy.

Yas : Yeah. Laughing.

Kirstie : Yeah. The girls have everything. It's got the little frill sleeve. And I have got the little, the little thumb holes as well. Which is really nice. We're just going for it. It's fine. Little detail round the neck. Just fall lovely. Yeah beautiful. So extra small on the top and the bottom. And then I did show you my SORT AARHUS Boots. Got the long length ones on. I don't know the code like Liesa. Because I haven't had them on before. But yeah. There we go. So that's me.
