LIVE SHOW TRANSCRIPT

Val : Hello, ladies. It's Tuesday, and it's freezing. If you're in the UK, I'm sure you'll agree with me. The temperatures have dropped. It's about time, really, isn't it? It's a bit weird being so mild when it's November. So we thought, you know what? Let's wrap up, it's cold. So we've done some layering. You've seen a lot of the pieces before, so we try and really mix it up now so you won't get you bored with your ladies. So, I'm wearing Dip. I've had to be tutored on this before I came on because I get all the collections mixed up. DIP, DIP MAINLINE. Look at these leather trousers. Oh, my goodness. Madly in love with these. These are RUNDHOLZ MAINLINE leather pants. They are so lightweight, they're so fine, they're like lamb's leather. They're absolutely beautiful. Got a slight drop crotch. Now, I'm in the medium. They are a bit big, so they're coming up generous. I would have take a small in these, and if they were small, they'd be more like that which is right then. They're not quite so short.

Jade : They're such gorgeous trousers.

Val : They're stunning.

Jade : I've told mum to nick them and have them altered to fit around the waist because they're too gorgeous.

Val : So, I've got the Printed Shirt on. Now, it's a small. It is a little bit too small because it's just pulling here. So, I would take a medium in this if it were going home with me. The Jacket is a small and if you want it neat, it's the perfect size. I love layering up prints with a block colour. I love mixing the colours and I think we've said it before, the DIP. I don't know what goes on. It doesn't matter what piece you put with they just all work. You know you look you look at them and think I'm not sure that'll work with that, you put it on and go, I don't know how it's done it. But I think it's all this dip dye in. You know this distressed, it picks up all the colours even the the not flat colours, even the the top colour has got things going on. So absolutely beautiful. But, you know, for me that for an outfit going out on a cold evening, yes you throw a coat on, but then you get to your destination and that's just perfect.

Jade : It's a wow.

Val : With the SORT AARHUS Clogs on. Live in these bad boys. They are so warm because they've got a fur sole and then they have a leather sole so we've got the fur sole in. They just give you that height and they're so so so so comfortable.

Jade : It's worth saying just to correct you said you'd got the printed shirt on. We've actually used the Printed Jacket as the shirt. The shirt is a boxier style and what we wanted to do was create that double jacket look so you've got it, it follows the same shape. Because you can see they're cut the same. So it is actually the jacket version of that piece that mom's got on.

Val : In the back side print.

Jade : Yeah.

Val : And this is Crab. Yeah. Getting there. I get I get a hang of all the collections just as we're moving into the new season. A bit late, really, but hey-ho. Yeah.

Val : Here's Jadey.

Jade : So, I'm inspired actually by the window display. We've redone the window today in half of the shop ready for getting the Christmas window ready because it has to be ready, well, it doesn't have to, but we like it to be ready for Friday when Nantwich turns its lights on. So, it's all orange and green on this side and I'm going for like log cabin vibes as I call it. So I'll make sure I kind of post videos and photos once it's done. But I've had to contact a log log man, a logger, a lumberjack. I don't know what they're called. The seven dwarves. They do that, don't they? Hi-ho, hi-ho. I think they're actually searching for diamonds though, not really sure. Anyway, that's the theme for the window. So inspired by that kind of rusty oranges and beautiful forestry greens, because I think it gets to a point in the season where you like you're ready for all of that like super, super texture, because one, it's freezing outside, but also, you just ready to look cozy and snuggly and you've like, it's like you've switched on and everyone today has been like that. They've like switched on the transition button and they're like, right, yeah, I'm doing winter, I'm doing Christmas now. It's happening. So, this is the DOM GOOR Shearling. They are absolutely beautiful. They are in loads and loads and loads and loads of different colours and there's some that are flat sheepskin like the one I've got on, and there are some that are curly, which you'll see on Lydia in just a second. I have, I've just said this out loud to the staff. I have a basket of I said the staff. That's not good is it? The team. Better. The team. I'm HR so tell myself off. Yeah, I've got a basket of sheepskins so that basically whatever outfit I've got on there's a sheepskin to go with it. And actually, I quite like a colour clash as opposed to a matchy, although a matchy's lovely. I've got navy that I'll put on like yellows and like greys, things like that. And then I've got a bright red that's like a burnt red so I'll put that on different palettes. I can't think. I can't think up the top of my head. I've also got pink which is this. But it's a I've got the scarf version of this, so it's really long. It's absolutely dreamy. I wear that with the neck goose leather in the blue and the yellow. So it is like literally pastel Neapolitan in your face. Just love it. So, yes, that's them. 

Eve : Clare Goodchild says, "Loving the Dom Goor. I'm so pleased with my curly one." 

Jade : They're gorgeous. Honestly. We need to get the scarves out actually. We haven't got any of the big giant scarves out in the shop, but they are really, really long. And price point, you get quite a lot of sheepskin for your money, and you can put it around your neck a few times. So it's quite practical as a scarf because it's actually really warm and bulky, which is nice when you're wearing it like as an outer layer piece. I've only had chance to wear it once this year because it's not been cold enough. And I just said to Lydia, I think I declare the cold. Like, I think we're ready. And she said, "Oh my god, yeah, we're definitely ready. Get 'em out." Yeah, well. Anyway, so that's, I'm not sure what colour this is, but you'll figure it out. This is the dark green flat fur. Beautiful. Then I've got on a mixture of orangy rusty tones. So feeling very sort of woodland creature vibes as I call it. This is the HANNOH WESSEL coat. It's a size 42. So, too big for me in theory, but I'm quite happy with that because I'm layered over a big jumper. Oh, as well, I just want to mention it, DOM GOOR will not go to any promotion over the Black Friday period. So if you were thinking of purchasing a DOM GOOR, I said the same about MAMA B yesterday, you can shop them very comfortably knowing that they're not going to be reduced in a week's time. I can tell you what won't be reduced. I can't tell you what will be because we haven't made those decisions just yet, but we have made the decisions on what's absolutely not. So yes, so this is a 42. I'd probably wear a 38 normally. Then I've got the Ruby, I think it's Ruby. Gobi. This is Gobi, this is a large. We only had large or extra small, so I preferred the kind of the idea of a more oversized relaxed fit for this because I want it to be snuggly, snuggly and warm and then that gives you the ability to obviously put things under it if you want. The idea of it is that it's a little sunflower. If you can see like little sunflower shape, which is really cute. I really enjoy this. I love how tight it is on the arms as well. I think that's so feminine. So that's him, and then I've got the HANNOH WESSEL Trouser on in the same kind of colour. These are a size 38. They've got an elasticated back. These are really, really lightweight. For those of you that feel the heat, which I do, outside I'm freezing but then I come inside and I'm absolutely baking. These are a great one and they fit brilliant, size 38. Absolutely great. So that's that. Lydia : You've got matching SORT AARHUS Boots.

Jade : Oh, yeah. Sorry. Matching SORT AARHUS. How sick is that? How nice is that that they match? It's literally perfect. Yeah. Anyway. Next. 

Lydia : Next. Oh, I'm in love. I am in full navy, I never usually go for navy but it's particularly gorgeous. And I have also got a matching DOM GOOR Scarf. And it's beautiful. This is the curly fur and it's got the beautifully soft leather on the reverse side. It's gorgeous. Isn't it nice, Jill.

Jill : It's lovely. And you look very nice in it.

Lydia : Thank you, Jill. 

Jill : I was going to say something different and then change your mind.

Lydia : Well, I've done a bit of layering. And I've started with MAMA B. This is where this look started. I started with the MAMA B suit, which is you can't fail. I started with my MAMA B suit, and the DOM GOOR matches perfectly, and so does the FRIDA ZAZOU Jacket in the navy. It's gorgeous. I haven't tried this on yet and it's a gorgeous shape. Very boxy. I will check which size I'm in but I love the buttons. The buttons just like stand out on there with the light lining as well. Oh, actually. Ooh, would I? You could maybe turn your cuff up and have that out as well.

Eve : Clare Goodchild says, "Gorgeous, Lyd."

Lydia : Thanks, Clare. Oh. That's a large. So, it is. I just grabbed whatever was on the rail but it wasn't too too big. It was okay. Especially if you want to put a few bits underneath then done me well. I've gone for a Bianco Adel Suit co-ord in the PR fabric. So this has a very very fine sort of check running through. Very tonal and subtle in its check. You've seen these styles before, but I'll show you them. The Adel shape is my favourite for sure. It just gives you a little bit more shape up top because it's more of a fitted style. And the matching Bianco Trousers, which are my favourites. They're very comfortable, elasticated with the waist and pockets and I feel like this could take you anywhere. SORT AARHUS Boots. These are the long ones with the stretch upper and they've got the toe cap um feature on those and they're really comfortable. A lot lighter than I expected too. So I feel very comfortable in these. Yeah, that's my first outfit.

Val : Honestly. I'm so in love with the DIP, It's just stunning this season. This is all stretchy fabric. I am in the small in the RUNDHOLZ DIP Jacket and the extra small in the RUNDHOLZ DIP Pants which tells you they are coming up generous. Mega mega stretchy. I've kept them high because I like bit of ankle out as you know. I've got the, what's this one? This is colour Lagoon, whatever you put on underneath It, just picks it up somewhere. It's just amazing. And he's kind of done this fluted shaping which is amazing. Love the trouser he’s put an outside seam on this leg and not on that leg. He's done the backside print on the backside Or the backside. it's just a striking outfit with mega comfort. You could go anywhere in it I absolutely love it. It’s got a short zip. You can take it all the way down. I like to raise it with having such short legs. Need to get as much length going as possible. It's just divine. I've got my Sort Aarhus Clogs on. I never take the things off. They are so, so, so, so comfortable. Yeah, so this is a fantastic going out outfit. You can keep it on. Yeah it’s amazing absolutely amazing. Love it. Is anybody ready? I might have talked to you quickly ladies. I do that, because I know you’ve seen it before I don’t want to say too much because you’re ooh. I love the cream trim as well. There's something very, very lovely about that. I think it cuts, it makes you look smaller, because it's that clever the print's coming in and giving you shape whether you've got it or not. Makes you look smaller, it's amazing. I've not got a lot more now to say, girls. There is a Dom Goor, scarf that would look very nice on top of this. That was handy, wasn't it, ladies? If you need a bit of extra warmth. I mean, you you'd stand out walking into your local with this on. Oh, come on. Gorgeous. In my local they’re kind of used to it to be honest. I go into a proper spit-and-saw dust pub and I rock up like this and they go, "Nah." Then I do go off to the other more bougie pubs and I fit in a bit better. But look at that. Look at that! Woo. That was a win, wasn't it? I love that. 

Lydia : This is this is out of my usual but it's really really lovely. It's a HANNOH WESSEL Coat. It's a size 36, I have got it over a few layers including a DOM GOOR Gilet. So I would say that this is the size I’d go for if I wanted the possibility to layer up over thicker items. It's Harris Tweed because you can see it there. It's absolutely gorgeous. Fully lined and the texture is just like, it it really feels expensive. Yeah it’s gorgeous. Yassies favourite buttons with the red stitching. Yes a Hannoh staple. Pockets to the front and buttons and even the little slanted buttonholes. It's the tiny details that they do. Split in the back. It's just the colour is divine, very very very nice. So underneath I've gone for one of my favourites. The AQUAMENTE Suit and again that's where I started this outfit and I found a perfectly colour matching DOM GOOR. We have got the same colour in a scarf as well. So if you wanted to do a Scarf and not the Gilet you've got that option but the gilets are particularly lovely because they are reversible. And I shall do that. They are in the curly as well which just again adds a little more texture which works nicely. Ooh I like that. I don't know which way I’d go. That’s very nice but the colours perfect for the forester colour from AQUAMENTE. Which is what my Jacket and Trouser are in. We've got a few different trouser styles as well. These are the wider longer style and they still fit and are a good length for me. They are sitting on my boots. I don't mind that. But we have got shorter. We've got a shorter and then a skinnier, shorter length as well.  I think that I love them all but these are probably my favourite. These are 34 for size. You've got pockets. Have we got elastication? No, not really. This is a fixed waistband with a button and a zip. So, I definitely say go for the usual size, your proper size with those. I’ll take off my DOM GOOR. Reluctant because it definitely is the weather for all the layers now. This jacket is gorgeous and a very classic style from AQUAMENTE. Short, boxy, you've got front pockets and buttons and you've even got your split in the in the cuff. In the classic stretch fabric, a crinkle cotton. And they've actually got a little bit of a sheen in the fabric. This time round which I think is really lovely it's very very subtle. So if you don't like glitz then don't let it put you off  because it is extremely subtle. Just catches the light really nicely. And it's just very fitted and I've not got anything underneath it and it works anything underneath it and it works absolutely fine. There’s the back. Is anyone ready? There are a few different colours as well in the AQUAMENTE pieces. A more green and we've also got these trousers in black which will always be a win. They are a very versatile trouser. You ready? 

Jade : Okay. Yeah.  So, I have chosen one of the BLACK LABEL Red Knits, but this knit is coming up more kind of on an orangey palette than some of the other reds. So, they don't match all the BLACK LABEL pieces. I'll show you an example so you can see what on earth I'm talking about. So this is like your true BLACK LABEL Rose. This is the velvet fabric so it comes up very, very red in that. And then this knit as you can see, when you put them together looks quite a lot more kind of corally or orangey in tone. So they're not pieces to style together. There's plenty of matching jumpers and knits that go with this pant as well as obviously the jackets and the coat. But we bought these anyway because we just thought they were absolutely lovely, and actually, some people really love a coral red because it's a really flattering colour to wear for a lot of people. And we just thought, well, you can wear that with your black pants or your sand pants or all your other things that do match this orangey palette but it gives you the ability to kind of go in a different direction if you're not the red. So we do know that they all don't match. It was on purpose. So, I've gone here for this is what I call the Rupert the Bear palette because I don't know why but red and beige together always remind me of Rupert the Bear. So it's that orangey kind of red and then the beautiful beige. These are HANNOH WESSEL. They're a size 38. They are a slight bit snug. I am in between sizes in these because the 40 are that little bit too big, the 38 are teeny bit small. But, because they're an elasticated waist, I would go for these, the 38, because I think after the first wear, I'd just feel like they'd relaxed enough to just it'd be fine. They are just stunning. Really, really, really, really, really lovely. They are a flat front. Can you see how they just slightly pull in at the pocket there? I know that they'd give really quickly, so I'm not, I'm not concerned about that at all. And I'd rather go for that size and then be neat rather than go slightly more oversize and then they become a bit voluminous. So, this is, is it HANNOH or AQUAMENTE, this? HANNOH, this one. The HANNOH WESSEL Coat. Beautiful. Properly down, very, very similar to the main line jackets and coats. But it's just, it's lighter than air and the colour is divine. It's got this inbuilt scarf. So what I've done there is put it through the loop at the back, which is underneath here. And then I've threaded it through again to secure it into place. I will just move that now so you can see what I'm talking about. So, it's in this little section here. Yeah, so you can remove it if you want to remove it and ditch it for for a certain look or obviously for those really cold days, you put it on, you can do a big bow if you fancy something pretty, but I just prefer it sort of around the neck and then just secured into place. I think it's a really lovely little extra feature. Although to be honest with you if it was me, I would ditch it just because I I'm the queen of no fuss. I can't be arsed. I'm just I'm that kind of person, so I would've just get rid of that cuz it's just one more thing than I need in my life. Look how nice that looks together though. I'm all about the little tiny details that make me happy. So that neck being really, really high and then that V there. I'd really enjoy wearing this. This is a very me outfit. So, sizes. Let's go through them. I didn't even check, so I don't know what I've picked up. So this is a 36. Fits perfectly, so they're quite roomy. It's a beautiful tomato colour. It's absolutely divine. And then this is a small. This is the BLACK LABEL. I love, love, love the high neck. You can obviously turn it down into a more classic roll neck. And then it stands up quite stiff. Yeah, it's quite happy to just stay there, but I love this look. It's very sort of apre ski. Just love it. All this neck I've got, it's nice to just keep it all warm. So the code on this, yeah, giraffe neck. I've been talking about it all week, mum, honestly on the shows. Hang on a min, It's 3620702, and actually, this is a medium, which is fine. If I was buying it, I'd buy the small because I know it'd be just slightly smaller, but the medium's actually not overly big at all. So that's that. I’m going to give mum the shoes, they’re the Clogs, I just nicked them. And actually with this outfit you could do the brown couldn’t you? So either would work.

Val : Just checking the mirror. Now then. I feel like I've got the spectacular out this time, you. Look at that. Love it, love it, love it. So this is the Pant of the season. I forgot what size I'm in. This is a small. I forgot what colour I'm in, Crab Cloud. They're absolutely amazing. They're just amazing. Love them. That's the matching Jacket. I'm in a small. This, am I right? This is a small? So sorry ladies I’ve not done my homework. I will check. And I've just chucked this RUNDHOLZ DIP Coat on top. Do you see what I mean about, doesn't matter what you put on with.

Jade (Off-Camera) : In no world should that work and yet it does.

 Val : It does. Just stunning. Absolutely stunning. I love it. Right, sizes. This is a medium. I'll show it fastened too. So the medium is right for me. It fits perfectly.

Jade (Off-Camera) :The reason this one is more blue than the orange is because this is Lagoon Reverse.

Val : Look at that. Come on. Isn't he spectacular, Mr. Carston? 

Jade (Off-Camera) : It reminds me of chameleon this piece, cuz it just like colour-changing. 

Val : I just love it. Love it, love it, love it. That's medium. I think there's only one of these left, ladies. So if you love it, don't hang about. Jade, will you come and check my or somebody just check the label, cuz I crick my neck trying to look.
