Article: A NEW ERA. A NEW HOME.

A NEW ERA. A NEW HOME.

A NEW ERA. A NEW HOME.

Inside the House of Valerie Launch Party | Saturday 24th October 2026

What a day. What a celebration. And what a wonderful way to begin this next chapter of House of Valerie.

On Saturday 24th October, we officially opened the doors to our new home in Combermere, welcoming customers, friends and family to celebrate a milestone that has been months in the making.

After a whirlwind week of moving, painting, unpacking and putting the finishing touches on our new space, the moment had finally arrived. And despite the storm blustering outside, nothing was going to dampen the celebrations!

From the very moment our doors opened at midday, the atmosphere was electric. We genuinely had no idea quite how many of you would make the journey, and to see so many familiar faces, alongside plenty of new ones, was something we won't forget.

Some of you had travelled from Bath, Oxford and even Pembrokeshire. We couldn't believe the distances people had come to celebrate with us, and we're so grateful.

FROM TRACTOR SHED TO HOUSE OF VALERIE

Those of you who have followed us for a while will know that House of Valerie has had a few homes over the years. We've moved around the Nantwich high street, each time finding ourselves outgrowing the space we were in.

But this move was different.

For Val, creating a space like this has always been a dream. Inspired by the European designers we love, particularly RUNDHOLZ, the vision was to create somewhere that felt truly representative of House of Valerie. Somewhere a little unexpected, with an industrial character, plenty of personality and room for the business to grow.

Finding the right building wasn't easy, and leaving the high street was certainly not a decision we made lightly. But with 90% of our business operating online, we knew we needed a home that could bring every part of House of Valerie together.

What was once essentially a tractor shed has been completely transformed into a space that houses our boutique, photography studio, warehouse and dispatch operation under one roof.

And if you've been following our renovation journey, you'll know that it really has been all hands on deck.

In fact, the final week felt rather like an episode of DIY SOS! With the move taking place just days before the launch, we were still completing the finishing touches half an hour before our first guests arrived.

There were some very long days, plenty of paintbrushes and even a few family members drafted in to help. But seeing it all come together made every moment worthwhile.

A CELEBRATION TO REMEMBER

With the doors open and the music playing, our new home quickly filled with the familiar buzz of House of Valerie.

Our DJ provided the soundtrack from midday, while Jade kept everyone suitably refreshed behind the bar, serving Champagne, G&Ts featuring our lovely new neighbours at Three Wrens Gin, and plenty of non-alcoholic options.

There was delicious pizza from Jordy's Pizza in Nantwich, lots of shopping, even more conversation and, of course, some fabulous outfits.

Later in the day, we were treated to a brilliant live acoustic performance from Callum Wright, which proved a real highlight of the celebrations.

Val also took a moment to say a few words, reflecting on the enormous amount of work that had gone into transforming the building and bringing the vision to life. She gave a special thank you to the House of Valerie team, whose hard work and dedication made the move possible.

And somewhere amongst it all, we managed to capture some lovely Polaroid photographs of our guests — little keepsakes from a day we'll always remember.

MORE THAN JUST A PLACE TO SHOP

One of the most wonderful things about the day had very little to do with the building itself.

It was seeing our community come together.

So many of you know one another through our live shows, often chatting away in the comments, sharing opinions on outfits and enjoying a mutual love of fashion. But watching those connections come to life in person was something else entirely.

There were customers giving one another impromptu fashion shows outside the changing rooms, helping each other choose outfits and striking up conversations as though they'd known one another for years.

It reminded us that House of Valerie has become so much more than a place to buy clothes.

It's a community of women brought together by a shared appreciation for individuality, creativity and a love of getting dressed.

And seeing that community enjoying our new home was incredibly rewarding.

THE VERDICT IS IN...

Naturally, we were rather curious to hear what everyone thought of the new space.

We asked our guests to describe it in just three words, capturing their first impressions in a little reel.

Some of our favourite responses?

Spacious. Inspiring. Warm. Eclectic. Invigorating. Inclusive. Inviting.

Hearing those words meant so much because they perfectly reflected what we'd hoped to create.

We wanted a space that felt welcoming and comfortable, but also inspiring. Somewhere you could take your time, explore the collections and enjoy the experience of shopping without feeling rushed.

For the first time, we can also give you a glimpse into the workings of House of Valerie.

You can see where we photograph our latest designer deliveries, watch our studio in action and discover the dispatch operation behind all those parcels arriving at your doors.

It's the part of the business that so many of our online customers rarely get to see, and we're delighted to finally be able to share it with you.

THE BEGINNING OF SOMETHING NEW

Although this is another move in the House of Valerie story, this one feels rather different.

For the first time, we feel we've found our forever home.

A space that truly reflects who we are, the designers we represent and everything we hope to achieve in the years ahead.

And perhaps the most exciting part is what comes next.

With so much more room to play with, we're already dreaming up plenty of reasons to bring everyone together again.

Think fashion shows, creative workshops, special shopping events and, naturally, plenty more live music and Champagne.

Our launch party was just the beginning.

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU

Finally, we couldn't end without saying an enormous thank you.

To every single person who braved the weather and travelled to celebrate with us, whether from just down the road or the other side of the country, thank you.

To our wonderful team, who worked tirelessly throughout the relocation, often going above and beyond to get everything ready in time. We genuinely couldn't have done it without you. And to the family members who found themselves recruited along the way, thank you for rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in!

We also want to give a very special mention to the brilliant local tradespeople and businesses who helped us bring this enormous project to life.

Simon, our painter, Matt the electrician, Gary the joiner, Donna from Signs of the Times, and Graham and the team at The Floor Shop in Nantwich - thank you for your hard work, patience and dedication throughout the renovation.

And an extra special thank you to Mike from Quartz Resin Flooring, who quite literally came to our rescue at the very last minute. In our hour of need, he couldn't have done more to help us, and we are so incredibly grateful!

There were certainly a few challenges along the way, but having such wonderful people around us made all the difference. We really couldn't have pulled it off without you all.

And, of course, to our customers. Whether you've been shopping with us for years, joining our live shows from home or have only just discovered House of Valerie, your continued support is the reason we've been able to make this dream a reality.

We're incredibly proud of what we've created, and even more excited to share it with you.

A new era. A new home. And the same House of Valerie you know and love.

With love,

The House of Valerie Team 🖤
