LIVE SHOW TRANSCRIPT

Jade : Happy Friday, girls. Right, so let me start delayer-ing, because I'm very warm. I've got a lot of outfits to get through, and everyone's wearing heavy things. Right, so I have teamed up- It's not reinventing the wheel here. I've done something that RUNDHOLZ did right at the beginning, and we've just about got on board now with mashing up some of the colours together. At first I was a bit scared of all this bright colour, but now I'm definitely ready to embrace it. Maybe it's because it's Christmas, I don't know, something festivities in the air, I'm ready for a bit more colour. So, I've got the Boiled Wool Red Scarf. Red is called.

Off-Camera : Rose.

Jade : Rose. Thank you, girls. It used to be Kiss, it's changed. And it's got all the frills, so it gives you lots of texture and just finishes the outfit off. I'm feeling lots and lots of kind of textured layers is really making the outfit. And it's getting cold enough to get around to doing that, although it is still fairly mild. This is, of course, Lotus? This is the Lotus Black Label Coat, which is absolutely divine. It's padded. I love how chic it is. It's kind of no frills this, which is a little bit different from BLACK LABEL because BLACK LABEL can sometimes be wide, voluminous, printed, bit in your face. This is kind of, I will say a little bit more classy and chic with it being a matte finish. The colours are really punchy, but really, really beautiful. So I love that. Size-wise, oh, it's got these cuffs as well, like actual wind shields, so it actually keeps you warm. Hang on, do you see inside? Yeah. Yeah. Like ski, like skiing. This is an extra small, you can see it was amply big enough. Then I've got the combination. I told you last week that I didn't like this Knit as much as the others because it was too round on the neck. But now that I've got the Under Piece on, it's absolutely fine. So there you go, fixed it. So if you've got the matching under piece, you're absolutely fine with how wide it is, if you are like me and you don't like so much exposed up there. This is a beautiful knit. It's really soft. It's a great length because it gives you that little bit of ability to layer if you want to. And this is the under pieces. They are amazing. They're so beautiful, really, really lovely. And then the Trouser is BLACK LABEL again. It's dogtooth. I'm in a small, I would actually wear an extra small if I was going for them. But they still work fine. In fact, yeah, I could do either size equally. And they've got both the red colour. So the Rose and the Lotus, so you can wear either Rose or Lotus on the top. You can go either way with it and obviously that will change the look of it quite differently. If I put the scarf here, that would be the combination if you, so it's a bit more deep the red, so it's more depth. I am wearing small in this, because that's the smallest, extra small in this, and as I say, small in the trouser, which are fine. And obviously the Clogs that I won't get off my feet, I just absolutely love them. They're so flattering on the ankle, and I find them just perfect for everyday.

Yas : Well we are being a bit more experimental with colour although I am wearing my own Trousers, so we are where we are. It's a bit mental, but  when we were experimenting with the styling yesterday at Kiln, the studio that we went to. We really found that this T-shirt, we kind of fell in love with it again. Obviously we loved it from the beginning, but we kind of missed- I've definitely stepped away from it just because it's such a statement print, and you've seen it before. But actually, it's so, so useful to combine colours that you would never normally put together because it's literally got every colour in it. And it, although it's bright, it's not super bright. It's got your black and your brown working through it. It's actually crazy the colours that are in there. It's beautiful. So that's the sleeve. And then or each t-shirt has a slightly different kind of pixelated pattern. The one that I'm wearing is more of a got more red going on, a bit more earthy tone. Look, there's your flash of red there. So they all have the same colours, but they're slightly different placement depending on what size you go for. This one, I feel has a nice bit of red at the hem, so it ties in these colours beautifully. And we are mixing up the DIP with the BLACK LABEL, which is very exciting. So I've gone for this beautiful In fact, In-fact I just showed Val this outfit and she said “Oh, where's that come from? I've never seen that before.”

Val : How didn’t I know about this piece? 

Yas : This a House Of Valerie RUNDHOLZ Exclusive. Oh, it's just gorgeous. It's the, I recognise the shape. I think we had it last winter or something very similar. I actually think the shape has improved on the raccoon cardigans that we've had in  back then because they've got this gorgeous fluted sleeve that isn't too long, but means you can fit plenty underneath it. I know Liesa likes putting her raccoon's on top of fitted jackets, and with this she definitely could. It's a gorgeous, warm, cozy, I just love this, yeah, very beautiful. The shape is really flattering. Slightly shorter at the back, but you've got this gorgeous caping. Caping of all the fabric. So yeah, it's a House Of Valerie exclusive. It's the RUNDHOLZ BLACK LABEL Rose colour way, which is the red Jade had on also. But, it's the MAINLINE shape, so you've got these lovely details of the little monster toggles, and the oversized pockets, and obviously the raccoon, which normally only comes in DIP.

Jade : That's why we did it as an exclusive, cuz we thought, "Why can't BLACK LABEL have a raccoon?"

Yas :  A bit of luxury. Yeah. It's got a two-way zip. So, sorry, I keep stepping this side. I can't quite see myself. I'm just trying to make sure I've got my layers. Yeah, I really like the red with the lagoon. These are like the my own trousers and I love them, cuz I just think they go with everything. Strangely enough, thank you. I didn't want a- I didn't know if this is a little bit of a bad. The Sun. Love the Sun. Especially with these trousers. But I genuinely feel like you can put anything with this trouser and it would work. I get that it's a bit bold, but I'm feeling it. I like it a lot. So, that's the Sun Fox Hair Scarf.

Lydia : What size is that one, Yas?

Yas : That is the small size. Let me see. Yeah. Big, long, gorgeous. Gorgeous little pop of colour. I love the Sun. And then we've got a BLACK LABEL Knit laid underneath. This is one of my favourite pieces, styles of knitwear from the BLACK LABEL collection. I love the high neck. If you're not a fan of the big high neck like this, you can really easily just roll the collar down and wear it loose.

Eloise : I have this jumper in black and I I think it looks really nice when you tuck it in.

Yas : Like rolled in.

Eloise : Yeah. It just makes it a bit more like standy-uppy. 

Yas : Oh, yeah. That's really nice. Yeah. It’s like a tomato red in the Rose, It's got a bit of orange to it which is lovely. Top, I will de-layer because I need to talk about the sizing of these T-shirts. I'm not in my true size I'm lazy. I think it's a medium. So, I grabbed it off the rail, they're amazingly soft. They literally feel like silk to wear. Yes, it is medium. But I do have to say they come up large to size and that's okay. You know, if you don't want a super skin type fitted T-shirt, it's not that. It's basically like an A-line piece but I think what they're great for is like doing a little bit of tucking here, especially when you're wearing the techno fabric group. It just doesn't create any bulk. It sits really nicely underneath. So, you can do a lot with them even though they are slightly more oversized than your normal fitted T-shirt. Trousers are the RUNDHOLZ DIP Techno fabric. We absolutely love this shape but we have them available in two styles. This one and the cropped length one which is my favourite. I just think the colour is just so useful because you've got all this two-toned dip-dye distressed features. On all the seams and pockets. Which really makes styling easy. Sorry these are so creased and very lived in because I've worn them to death. But yeah your pair probably won't look like this. I literally wear them like the all the time. 

Liesa : Good evening everyone. I feel I’ve gone a bit more traditional tonight. Very very wintery, warm and cosy. So this is a new piece we've had in from ANNETTE GÖRTZ. So I don't think we showed it yet. I think it's called the Amos Coat. It was so weird. I was looking at this outside. I was looking on the ANNETTE GÖRTZ'S website the other night. I think it was Monday night. I came in Tuesday morning and it was there. It’s gorgeous. I love it because it's A-line shaped. So you've got all the extra fabric. It has got a two way zip. Which is lovely. And it's got this incredible stand-up collar that literally just sits away from you. So even though it’s a light colour you're not going to get your makeup on it. 

Eloise : I had a lady asking earlier. So do you know if you unzip the zipper a bit? Can you fold the collar down if you don't want it up near your face? Yeah. Yeah. There we go. Lovely.

Liesa : Definitely. Because it's downfilled I think isn't it? So it just sort of sits. Which looks nice at that actually. This beautiful print on it. I don't know if it's coming across on camera, flower. The collar is such a neutral creamy colour It's all because it goes in those things. It's so nice. And then it's also got these little poppers at the side. So if you didn't want it quite as A-line. Just do one side. It just brings it in more cocoon shape. Lovely isn't it? Mm. It's so nice. I thought I would be wearing it  A-line shape. It's gorgeous. I'm not sure what size I’m wearing Because this is a good size. Whatever we've got on. Small. So I don't know how many we've got but it's a a new piece but you could easily get plenty underneath it. And the length is perfect. Also got this ribbon, little ribbon decoration on it. And then I've styled it with the SORT AARHUS Leather Pants in the chocolate colour. I've got my leathers on today so that's what made me think. Oh I know. And then we had a customer in a very lovely lady. You know who you are. Who's purchased this gorgeous jumper today. That's what made me put it with it. The La Vaca Loca Tobacco colour. The detail how it all falls. It’s like offset to one side. Look at all the drop hem. Longer at the back. It keeps you covered. Not sure what wool it is. This one. But it's gorgeous. So nice. It's a nice little neck. Hide. Not itchy at all. Um I'm not sure what size it is. Sorry. I think it might be one size or S/M yeah M/L. Oh yeah so S/M think. And the leggings I've got on a Medium. These got a little side zip but it's the really stretchy leather Gorgeous. Chocolate Brown. And then the boots are the SORT AARHUS. These are the ones that aren't fitted, which are perfect. I like to have a little bit of room in if you're going to put leggings in it. So you've got room to get it all in. What colour are these called? Fango? Really really nice. And I'm wearing 40 and they are true to size I would say. That's me.

Kirstie : I’ve gone for my normal black and white. I've got the, this is a new Jumper from ANNETTE GÖRTZ but it is the only one and it's a medium. It's a cashmere and it's reversible as well. Beautiful knit. Lovely. Nice length. 

Jade : I love how the collar just sort of stands up on its own. No messing around like that drama. 

Kirstie : Sits away But I've just done that as well, you know like Eloise suggested.

Jade : it's got that celestial print on it. Which is really gorgeous. Gorgeous

Kirstie : Beautiful jumper. I’ve paired it up with the SORT AARHUS Leather Trousers which I love. These are the medium. I would go down to the small but are super comfy and lovely and they go with anything. Then on my feet I’ve got the LOFINA Boots which is the half length, got a little heel. I’m In my size which are a 38. 

Jade : I have now got on a combination of monochrome and then an injection of this bright red fur which is just utterly dreamy. I had the pink one on the other day, now I'm on the red. They're just they're absolutely scrumptious and if you haven't got one then you should have one basically. If you haven't got a fur of some description in your wardrobe you're missing out. And this is a faux fur and it's so so so soft. You literally feel like a teddy bear It's a size they're obviously very oversized and they've got these hooks to fasten them which creates this drama around the neck if you wanted to. Or of course you can wear it open to show what you've got on open to show what you've got on monochrome layering here and that brings in the little. So take that one off, I’ve done some layering.

Yas :I like what you've done here.

Jade :Thank you. Well, it's cold, isn't it? It's getting a bit, it's getting a bit, 2 layer situation. We sort my collar out. 

Yas :I think more is more. 

Jade : Well, it's a mad print, isn't it? So.

Yas : But it doesn't look it from a distance because the check is so fine. it's not looking like you're combining two wild checks. It just looks like you've got grey and then the Black print on. 

Jade : And I think because it's monochrome it's kind of not that crazy. I think this could easily be like office wear if you wanted it to be. Like it's quite chic and classy. Anyway I've gone and I've creased them now. I'm so sorry. They were really beautifully seen. But I don't know what I've done. I've obviously done some sort of Pilates in them or something because I'm really creasy now. God knows what I've been doing. But this is the Boxy Jacket. So there's two styles of jacket and usually we wear one or the other and I just thought actually Liesa is one for wearing these jackets as shirts. We've all kind of learnt from that started doing that ourselves. Yas is about to do it in a minute. Liesa's still doing it right now. And I thought why can't you do that with the BLACK LABEL Cos we're often doing it in the DIP and MAINLINE . But this could work too. And I do think it just looks more finished. And if you do want that kind of very very cohesive look. Then rather than put something flat underneath it or a contrast shirt. Go for the jacket and then you can mix and match your three so that's you're purchasing three pieces here but you can mix and match them, Wear them in different combinations. This is, I assume they're all the smallest. Yes, this is a small and then this is extra small I remember and it's perfect and then the trousers also are an extra small. So I have them on in a small a minute ago. Now these ones are a small. Both perfect. It's cute isn't it?

Yas : Mm. Really nice. Yeah it has got a little check in it, very nice 

Jade :Probably if I was wearing this, probably would, not sure. Probably would, bit booby that one. Yeah we’re in agreement. 

Leisa : Right. I've stuck with the leggings because if you're going to buy these leggings they are very very expensively lush. You need to get a lot of the wear out of them. I think they'll be a lovely add to my collection, they're really nice. So yeah you gotta be able to wear them different ways, I love a bit of leather don't I? And this is actually my own two tops here and I've been moaning I've got nothing to wear under it but we've got a La Vaca Loca Top that goes with it. I know it was the favourite top of the last 2 weeks but I didn’t know it came in this colour! Look at it. It's gorgeous. Look at the match! So right started with the Scarf because I thought I put the scarf next to the leggings and thought it matched quite well. So, yeah for the scarf first of all and then started layering. So this is the Print Scarf, the full size one with the Sand Wool back, which is gorgeous. Which can still be cut in half if we need to, or if we'd like to, is that correct? So if you think that one is too big we can cut or we have a 1/2 in stock, that’s a full one. Then this is my jacket but we've got, only grabbed it because we've still got them but I love this jacket. Super stretchy. I think I know you showed this during the other day but I love it. The leathers, you pull up and then you show all your fancy little cups off. Oh, look at that. It's gorgeous. So, yeah, this is the DIP Jacket in the Crab. This little thin layer is wool.  I've had my thermals on underneath today and hiding it. Whereas this you don't need to hide it. So there's the jacket. That one and I'm wearing an extra small and  I don't know if you noticed but I have actually had it altered and put an extra I can't show you now. How it kicks out there I've had it so it scoops out a bit more. This is the Shirt, the backside. A pretty shirt isn't it Yas? I love it.

Jade :  Have we answered this one? What's the fabric of the crab jacket? It's a stretch, lightweight denim.

Liesa :  Very stretchy. Very lightweight.

Jade :Very stretchy.

Liesa : Yeah. It's like you're not wearing anything. It's gorgeous and then this obviously matches it. But this there's no stretch in this one. This is like the paper. This is an extra small. I've also had this scooped out a little bit. So that you've got extra like just my little thing to keep doing. The little man down the road, I said, can you just scoop me that out? 

Jade : It's basically because ladies, Liesa's an extra, extra small if RUNDHOLZ made one. So, she does have to have even the extra smalls altered a little bit. So, it can be done. If you are in the same boat, because I know there are a lot of women that find it's quite roomy with the RUNDHOLZ. Yeah, it's quite petite. We can, we can mess with them. I have got Lisa's little man will mess with it.

Liesa : My little man from down the road, he’s amazing. 

Eloise : Is it itchy Lies?

Liesa :  No, I have got my thermals underneath but I can wear these on my bare skin as well. But I love this colour like a rust, it goes with it all yeah. So I need to have a little word with. I'll be waiting for one of these, It's lovely. That's my little outfit. 

Yas :What have I done? Same Trousers, Lagoon Light, the Jacket is Lagoon Reverse. Let me get that right. Move my hair, it’s a size medium or maybe a small. This is a size small but they are quite roomy so it's coming up a little bit big but it's the heavier weight techno fabric. So there is plenty of stretch in it but it's got this kind of ribbed effect all over. So it is not heavy weight but heavier weight than the Techno Jacket that I've layered underneath. It's gorgeous. It's got all the colours that follow through on the trouser. But the reason why it's called the Reverse is because it's got more of this gorgeous ‘tealy’ colour than it does the darker rusty orange. 

Jade :Which in combination like this is just amazing.

Yas : Unintentional but intentional. Gorgeous. 

Jade : Because on the pockets you've got the bleaching. So that pulls through there on your trouser like it's just it looks absolutely exactly as it was intended to be worn.

Yas : Literally the combinations are endless. I can't remember what I wore yesterday. I think it was the Crab Trousers, same style, same pant in the Crab. With this Crab and then the Crab heavier Jacket over the, on top with this little top on and it just looked gorgeous. This top is the secret I think to bring it all together beautifully. It just looks like it's meant to be and I've done as Lisa did and got all my cuffs out. 

Jade : And the printed shirts actually just show that. That's another version of if the T-shirt. 

Yas : To wear that underneath. 

Jade : Yeah that does the same sort of.

Yas : We are still learning with the collections because they're just so wild and amazing and so beautiful this year. What you wouldn’t, I don't know  there's no, nothing's off limits, basically. Even things that we thought wouldn't work when you put them on, it works. Yeah, because colours and prints all just tie in together beautifully. So, just risk it and really don't be afraid to experiment as we do. 

Jade : It's easier, for us to do that, because we've got obviously the whole collection in front of us. 

Yas : But If you're not sure, you know, you sat at home looking on the website thinking, oh, would that go with that? Just call us, message us, email us, we'll give you all of our insight but yeah that would also work beautifully. It's all the prints that are just really pulling through all the colours beautifully. And if I wanted to.

Jade : But you know it might be a good time to say if you can book in a visit to come and see us. We're having a bit of a a party. House Of Valerie, HOV is 1. We rebranded last year in line with our real philosophy which is basically to be more Valerie cos she's a bit wild. Wild Vally egg and to celebrate it because we had such a great time last year at the at the launch party. 

Yas : I can't believe it's been a year since then. 

Jade : No it's crazy I feel like a million things have changed since then. It's like crazy but we're having a party. It's on Wednesday the 26th of November and Thursday 27th there will be champagne, canapes, we haven't said that we'll stay open later but I think we probably will have a little bit of an hour after closing time to kind of take it into the evening and then after that you can obviously go off and have drinks and if we're baby free, like me, if I am, I will definitely come and join you. But yeah, it's going to be two full days in the shop where the whole team will be here to style, to just chat, get to know each other better and just basically an excuse to be a bit naughty for two days really. 

Yas : Please come and join us. There's still so much so many beautiful things.

Jade :Yeah but also beyond that if you don't want to buy anything you just want to come and have a bit of a drink of wine with us and have a bit of a laugh. We feel like we're doing that all the time and you guys are watching. So to have you with us it would be so gorgeous. 

Yas : Yeah. For it not to be a screen. 

Jade : Yeah our friends at the other end of the screen. 

Yas : Thank you. So this is in a medium obviously a a smaller size would be better but again these colours work together and they do because of the T-shirt. This is great because it's a lightweight Techno fabric. So I've really been enjoying styling the lightweight Techno Jackets underneath heavier jackets. That just adds a bit more detail all that colour. Even though it's the crab colour. You've got all the flashes of the Sun and the darker elements of Crab and the rustier lighter pieces. So it all comes together very beautifully.

Jade : I'll actually be really sad for this season to end because I love it that much. 

Kirstie : So I’ve done La Vaca Loca this is the Taupe colour and I've put it with the Tobacco and I think it works. Doesn’t have to be matching all the time does it? 

Jade : Its just given you slightly more depth so its not as flat so its really lovely.

Kirstie : These Trousers are lovely, I’ve got them quite high up because I’ve got no underpiece on. I’ll just show you the Scarf, beautiful, nice weight scarf. It's the same on the little jumper. I love the shape of this jumper, I love how high it comes up and it just, it just scoops at the side. Lovely length in the sleeve, not too long. I've got small/medium in both, fit lovely, and I've got my own boots on underneath. That's it really.

Jade : You don't need any more than that when it works so brilliantly Kirstie.

Yas : I am super into this.

Jade : Pink and green are always friends.

Yas :it makes it look a bit more muted.

Jade : Yeah, calms it down a bit. That looks beautiful. 

Yas : Genius. This is the large. Too big, gorgeous colour. I love the Lagoon and the Flamingo together in the wool. 

Jade : These are the MUNTHE Jeans, these come in two colours, there’s the darker denim and there’s the light denim. I’ve had to turn them up on bottom because it's dead rainy today and then this is last year's Annette Görtz Polo neck. Which I know it's too last season but if it's black it doesn't count. Cute, kinda got the perfect outfit for that on today. It’s a lovely piece very very nice. Really really cute actually a bit 50s, 60s? I think the polo neck looks nice with anything.

Yas : I have put another outfit on, lovely little outfit. Wish this was a bit cropped then you could see what I’ve done, just tuck it or do something with it.

Jade :Tuck it in your bra.

Yas : Oh yeah Stef told us that didn’t she. I feel like that’s too much, maybe? Gorgeous. Okay. That's it, that's us girls.
