Val : Hello Ladies! I'm just admiring my jumper. It's so gorgeous. If you're watching, Carsten, you're an absolute legend. Are we ready?

Yas (Off-Camera) : Yeah, I think so.

Val : Can you see my shoes?

Yas (Off-Camera) : Just gonna do this. Yeah, you can see your shoes.

Val : Excellent. Because this is a bit out of the park for me. Hello, ladies! Um, I'm gonna have to be really quick because I've got a hairdresser's appointment.

Jade (Off-Camera) : Inspiration is Riddian from The X Factor, if anyone remembers Riddian.

Val : You know, this is the trouble working with your family. She said to me yesterday, "Mum, what are you? What have you come as today? Riddian." And, you know what, I remembered the name! Was he X Factor?

Jade (Off-Camera) : Yeah.

Val : And then she sent a picture into the work group chat, and he's got the craziest white hair.

Jade (Off-Camera) : It does look alarmingly like you've been electrocuted.

Val : Oh, it's just long! Anyway. Aren't kids horrible? So we've got the knitwear offer on. We've done 10% off, and we genuinely did it because it's going—it's going cold, and we thought we have got the most gorgeous knitwear in store in terms of colours and fabrics. So, we're gonna do a little show-off of our knitwear today. I've gone for this absolutely spectacular piece, the Rundholz Pullover. I'm gonna have to ask, is it Mainline, girls?

Yas (Off-Camera) : It's Dip.

Jade (Off-Camera) : Dip.

Val : Dip, of course it is. What's the colour?

Yas (Off-Camera) : Sun.

Val : Sun, of course it is.

And I've matched it up with the Rundholz Trouser, this is the stretchy, my favourite. Absolutely love it. Believe it or not, I'm in extra small, so that tells you everything. It stretches really, really well because I'm normally a medium, um, but as you can see, I've gotten into the extra small. The waistband can be adjusted, so I'm very, very short-legged, so I wear it very high. You can put a cumberband on it, just turn it over, and get it to the length that you want. And what I love about it, can you see? It's got the sun where it's sort of bleached out a little bit. Um, and then for me, the pièce de résistance is the shoe. Come on! Loving these. If you're a little 'un like me, you're gonna gain an inch and a half? Inch and a half?

Yas (Off-Camera) : Two inches?

Val : Two inches. They are the Lofinas. They've got a suede top. You've got this fabulous base to them, platform to them. I absolutely 100% can guarantee they are comfort. They're absolutely fabulous. As you know, I've got raging arthritis in my big toe and bone going down, so unless they're comfortable, I cannot put them on, it's as simple as that. And the wonderfulness with these is they've got the zip at the side, so once you've got your laces in the right place, you don't have to do your laces again. Stick your foot in and zip them up. Fantastic. I love them.

Val : The girls are out of control on my left-hand side. All I can see is giggling. Kirstie’s actually just collapsed. I don't know what's going on. We'll find out in a minute and I'll let you know. It's got this absolutely gorgeous netting, which I adore, so you can let that come through. I love it. Absolutely love their pieces that you layer up with. I love it coming through the sleeve. Just look gorgeous. And look at all this little, ah, love a little bit of layer piece. Right, I'll go and find out what's going on over there. I'll come back and I'll dob them in. Here's Yasmin.

Yas : Hello! Am I in the right place, Lydia? Right in the center?

Lydia (Off-Camera) : Yes, perfectly.

Yas : So, obviously we're showing knitwear this evening, or afternoon, actually. So I've gone to Annette Görtz because this is my absolute favourite piece of knitwear in the whole store this season. It's the Clou Pullover, and it's 100% cashmere. And it's very, very expensive, but it's very, very beautiful. I love the colour. I think it's the kind of, well, it's the kind of thing I just have in my wardrobe and go back to year, and year, and year until it literally fell apart. I absolutely adore the colour. It's like this biscuity, natural, oatmealy colourway, so it works beautifully with all your neutrals. I've styled it with the Turf leather trousers from Rundholz Mainline, which are actually Leisa’s. I've literally stolen them off her body because we only have one pair left and they are a medium and unfortunately they're a little bit too big. Otherwise they'd be in my basket, and I'd be running out with them. But no, unfortunately they're sold, they're too big, but if anyone fits in them, I urge you to buy them because they're the best trousers ever. And I'm going to demonstrate that and I'm going to stay in them the whole show, and just show loads of different knit pieces of knitwear on top of them, just to show how versatile they are. I love them. I- and I have the Mainline jean like so. Even though they're very similar in shape, I would still invest in these leathers. They're just definitely a point of difference. And they just- they sit a bit better for me, and they're a bit wider and kind of flatter, which is a nice change.

So, I've layered up. I've got the Eve knitted shawl, again from Annette Görtz, on. Chunky cable knit, and it's really, super warm. You kind of don't need a coat when you're wearing something like this. If it's dry outside, you'll be fine. This is also included in the sale.

Lydia (Off-Camera) : Oh, Tracy Ward's watching. She says, "Love the colours” and she is watching from Seville, Spain I think.

Yas : Yes Spain, well done. Thank you. Lovely, enjoy. I hope it's lovely and sunny there because it's very miserable and rainy here. And it's literally going dark outside, so what the hell's going on? So, this is the jumper without the overpiece. It's a round neck, as you can see. I've got the medium on, so it's a little bit more oversized than a small would be, obviously, but they're a generous fit anyway.

Lydia (Off-Camera) : Oh, she says 24 degrees.

Jade (Off-Camera) : Very jealous.

Yas : Very jealous. Okay, I'm going to let one of the girls on. Who's next, Leisa?

Leisa : Yes. Sorry, just talking about Tracy being in Seville. Good afternoon, you and the lovely warm weather. Mind you, it's not that cold today. I know it's knitwear, but I was cold while I was waiting, so I popped this on over the top.

Jade (Off-Camera) : Oh, I really love that. I didn't think you'd fit it, but actually, because the batwings on that are bigger than the one under it, it works.

Leisa : It's cool, isn't it?

Jade (Off-Camera) : Really cool.

Leisa : So, it's a beautiful Bone Mainline zip-up hoodie. This is the biggest piece, isn't it? Long version. I know I’m going to get stuck in it. I do every time.

Jade (Off-Camera) : Can you keep the noise down here please.

Leisa : They’ve got the giggles out there. We do apologize.

Yas (Off-Camera) : Very distracting.

Leisa : Yes, very naughty. So, yes, I'm in small in that one. That is the more oversized one. We have got the shorter one. I'll show you the shorter one and the pull on one. So, I put that on to keep me warm. So, this was the knit I went for. Look at this, one of my favourites. It's got like a hessian knit in it. Is it hessian?

Jade (Off-Camera) : Yeah, it's quite- it doesn't feel brilliant to touch, and I mean that in a positive way. As in, it's woven with like, literally, a hessian that runs through, which makes it really stiff and like voluminous. So, it's nice and 3D, so you get that really great texture. But, you need a little underpiece under it because it is a little bit scratchy with it being hessian.

Leisa : Yeah, it's scratchy, it's not itchy. Thank goodness. Doesn't bother me and I'm quite sensitive. But, it's beautiful. It's a La vaca loca piece. And she is called- oh, Grandpa Ecru. Oh, no. Excuse me. Duerme. How do you spell that, D U E R M E. One size she is.

Jade (Off-Camera) : Duerme.

Leisa : Got little trumpet sleeves. Got the drop seams. It’s one sized. Nice and cropped, isn't it? And then I paired it up with these beautiful joggers, which are a bit like, Will you stop? These are very clever. They've got a pleat down the side of it, like all the jeans and trousers that we're looking at this season. And then I've popped on the only pair (you can just get these by calling us) of Mainline pumps or ankle boots. We've got one pair.

Jade (Off-Camera) : I’ve got a pair, if anyone wants to be as cool as me?

Leisa : Yeah, they are cool.

Val (Off-Camera) : God help us. What size are those?

Leisa : These are 40.

Val (Off-Camera) : 40. Are they a real 40?

Jade (Off-Camera) : No they’re a 39 so they, I’m a 40 but I’m actually a 39 but they come up a size bigger.

Leisa : I’m a 40 and they fit me perfectly, they are so cool.

Jade (Off-Camera) : They’re really cool. We should have had them for the shop, shouldn't we? But we just- we ran out of money, girls. What can I say? We bought all the jeans, all the Dip, and we ran out of money.

Leisa : Yeah, they are gorgeous. So, yeah, I would like these, but I went for boring black. So, that's me.

Jade :  I've dressed by Val, so we've gone for some chic this time. So not my usual kind of loud colours. It's a little bit more demure. So let me know what you think. Little bit grown-up for me. It's Black Label, and it's like the silvery color, which actually isn't massively sort of target.

Yas (Off-Camera) : Sorry, does it go with this?

Jade : Yeah!

Yas (Off-Camera) : I thought it would be a better match, but it tones doesn’t isn't.

Jade : Yes, so obviously the predominant colours for the Black Label are the red and the pinks, but actually this is a really cheeky colour that's available in some of the pieces but not all of them, and it really lifts the whole collection. It's really lovely. So, on the rail we have it next to the colour you used to be called Lolly, what is it now called?

Yas (Off-Camera) : Lily.

Jade :  Lily. Yeah, Lily. And this with the Lily is really lovely. So, if you are looking for a grey to go with the pinks, the Lotus and the Dark Grey look brilliant. And then the Lily and this silvery grey. But as a standalone, it's just a really lovely kind of silvery grey. If you're looking at it as far as greys, it's more on the blue side than it would be the browny side of grey. So, if that's the tone that works for you, look lovely with Riddian's hair over there.

I've got two knitwear pieces on, although actually as part of the promotion, only the jumper is involved. Scarfs, unfortunately, isn't included. But the knitwear pieces on, my body - I don't know how to say that. The body knitwear is included, but not the neck knitwear. So, this is the scarf. It's a lovely one with this lovely detail at the ends. That was boring, wasn't it? Lovely, lovely. Pick another adjective, Jade. And then the jumper, it's got the same ribbing, so it matches beautifully. Has it got it on the bottom? It has. And the jumper is actually a medium, but they're kind of oversized, so it doesn't really matter whether you go for the small or the medium in it. I just think you get a little bit more volume. So, really cute. Then I've got the matching underpiece on. Now, Mum invented this. She said, "Why don't you put this basic under this jumper?"

Val (Off-Camera) : And what did you say, Jade?

Jade : And I said, "No, now, then, Mum, you have reinvented the wheel there. You are mashing it right up." I said, "Next, you'll be putting Mainline and Mainline on together, Dip and Dip.

Val (Off-Camera) : All day, all day long this goes on for. I’ve got my son upstairs, he gives as good as he gets as well.

Jade : So, this is the underpiece. Black Label base. They are brilliant. They sell out really quickly, so don't hesitate because they never get to sale, because they're so gorgeous. They actually are really super long, look. Which gives you a lot of, what's the word? Possibility to do a variety of things with it. So, you can twist it, do all this business, which makes you look like you're so skinny underneath. So, yay. Then the trouser is a Black Label trouser. It's one of my champion trousers of the season. I think it's got a little bit of wool in it and it's got a very, very, very light kind of pinstripe in the fabric.

Val (Off-Camera) : I haven't noticed that before.

Jade : It's so pale, it's barely there, but it is there. It just gives it that little bit of difference, so rather than being a very, very flat black, there's something a little bit more textured about it. Combat pockets, very, very cool. These remind me massively of my Myra trousers from the MAMA B. Are you getting that vibe too, Lydia, because you've got them too, haven't you?

Lydia (Off-Camera) : I agree, Jade

Jade : They've got similar kind of square pockets and the kind of bianco, balloon-y shape. It's a very flattering look. These are a small. I could go down because they are a little bit, but yeah, they're a Bobby dazzler them. And I've got the clogs on, because basically it's all I wear. Can't give them up, just love them. So, that's me.

Yas : Oh, I love this outfit. Leis, these are now mine. I'm obsessed. I'm obsessed with them. They're gorgeous.

Val (Off-Camera) : You are not having those trousers.

Yas : I just want Lisa's.

Val (Off-Camera) : Stunning. Love what you've done as a combination, Yas. That's divine. You nailed that.

Yas : Gorgeous. Leisa’s started to do Pick of the Week, and this is my Pick of the Week. These trousers.

Leisa (Off-Camera) : But just she's nicked them. Nick of the Week, that is.

Yas : But what I've done is matched up the Mainline Turf colour, which is my favoruite colour in the world, with the Dip Bermuda print. Actually, no, backside print. This is all the write-y with the pops of the crab, that reddish colour coming through. It's got a bit of brown in it too, I suppose. I think the print on the cotton shirt works perfectly with the brown, and just lifts it a little bit. It looks like you've done a good job dressing yourself in the morning, really thought about it.

The scarf is gorgeous. This is, I think it's a half, or is it a full one? Full with the backside print on this side, and the wool on Sand on a reverse. And that just works to tone down the full outfit by not- what am I trying to say? Injecting another colour. I was looking at the Crab, but I think the Crab with the wool back is just too bright for the Crab that features on this print here.

Ah! As for knitwear, got the silk pullover on, which if you want 10% off this, it's going to go a long way because it's an expensive piece. 10% off of a lot is a lot, I've discovered. But gorgeous fit. I've got the medium on, and I've just kind of swung it back off the shoulders, so creating a shorter, croppier length at the front, so you can see more of the print coming out the back. Bye Val.

Yas : So, it's a gorgeous piece. It's silk. It's very, very warm, but it doesn't have any itchiness at all. It's like almost like a dressing gown. It's that soft. It's ridiculous. It feels beautiful. That's me. I've got the shirt on underneath, which I'll show you. I think this is a medium, so it's a little bit roomy, but that works when you're layering longer pieces over the top. And I've just got my cuffed Turf t-shirt underneath. I'm too warm. Okay, that's me done. Too warm.

Leisa : I feel quite boring coming in after you, Yas, because that was such a stunning outfit. I've just swapped in into the yak and wool jumper, but again, I just sort of popped this on over the top. It's the Bone shorter jacket. Gorgeous. This is size small, believe it or not. So, they're very, very generous. Down-filled, so it's so, so light. We have a little hood. I’ll pop it out just for you, so you can see the size. It's a good- oh, good size. They've got the little, the little monster arms, hands on it there. It's lovely. I did fold it over just so that my cuffs did just pop out. So, that is in the small. You're trying to see what I've got on, Lyd.

Lydia (Off-Camera) : I'm trying to decide whether it's a brown or black link. It's brown.

Leisa : It's a brown, isn't it? Yes, it's brown.

Lydia (Off-Camera) : I have a feeling this is a last one alert. Last one alert. I think it is.

Leisa : Be quick. This is the Rundholz Mainline Pullover, It's beautiful. It's the much longer at the back. Swings because there's plenty of fabric. Got raw edges and it's that pure wool and yak mix. And we got it in the Swamp, did you say, Kirst? Nope, Black and Bone. Of course we have. So there's the Black one. And there's the Bone one. So that is the shorter piece. Is that just because it's smaller, it looks exactly he same? So that’s 702, what do I know. They are quite a bit longer aren’t they.

Kirstie: Are they the same size?

Leisa : No, small and medium. So that gives you a good show. I don't think it makes that much difference width-wise, but to get that swing like I'm quite like, cover the back, I would just size up. I quite like that look. And that's me. I'm very quick. Is jade coming on last?

Yas : I’m very quick. I’ve not really changed much I’ve just changed the jumper but I wanted to show you this because its a House Of Valerie exclusive but Rundholz mainline and 10% off this week, very happy with that. This is the Crab Silk Pullover, its slightly different to the one I had on earlier as its round neck rather than a high and you’ve got more fitted sleeves, the other style was obviously more floaty and swingy. Love the length, love the frayed edges and you could. I don’t know would you? Would you?

Jade (Off-Camera) : Why not? More’s more, get it on.

Yas : This is the Racoon. Gorgeous scarf. I didn’t know if I could mix racoon and silk but?

Lydia (Off-Camera) : Is this the big size?

Jade (Off-Camera) : I think when it comes to luxury Yas, more is absolutely more.

Yas : More is more. Those are words to live by Jade.

Jade (Off-Camera) : Thanks Yas, yeah.

Yas : I think it works, texture and texture, lovely and then leather trousers. Honestly I think these leather trousers have changed the world. It makes everything work. They are the secret to dressing. Get your self some leather trousers.

Kirstie : You, you’re going to be obsessed aren’t you?

Yas : I know. Okay, over to Jade.

Jade : One sec, sort that for me. Okay I am in love, I look cute enough to eat. This Munthe arrived last week and Yas has had a piece of basically all of it. I have not had the chance to, let me get my pockets right hang on, I’ve not had the chance to put it on yet. Well I’m obsessed so I’m going to have all of this and then Yas and I are going to match and she’s going to be so happy.

Yas (Off-Camera) :  No no!

Jade : So happy, I can hear her saying how excited she is for that. So I have got a knitwear piece on, I can’t believe that we’re giving 10% off as its only just arrived. That seems ludicrous, crazy business decision, however we are where we are. I’ve got a little matching bag from Anntette Görtz, little banana bag.

Lydia (Off-Camera) : Oh Stef says that she loves the colours.

Jade : So cute!

Jade : So cute and Its so retro this little cute shape isn’t it? The cardigan, it does come in Grey too as well so if the Lemon isn’t for you then you can have a little Grey one. I would wear it slightly back. Oooh! I love it. Then the jeans they’re also Munthe. I haven’t got my words today have I? Feel like I can’t find my words I’m just a little bit weird, its because I’m full of cold. I’ve got a cold girls feel sorry for me because I do. I don’t know what these are called and I don’t know what size they are, can anyone offer any help?

Lydia (Off-Camera) : They are Obey is the style name.

Jade : Obey, something I can’t do!

Kirstie : They’re a 36!

Jade :  This is a size 36, I don’t know what that translates as but it's fine.

Yas (Off-Camera) : 12?

Kirstie : 8 isn’t it?

Yas (Off-Camera) :  8?

Jade : Well if its an 8 that’s a lie because I’m definitely not an 8 so they come up rather generous.

Yas (Off-Camera) : I like going big, I’ve got the size 38 I think so they sit quite low on the hip and then I’ve got the option to tie, cinch in the drawstrings and make it high waisted if you want. So its nice to have both options.

Jade : have got because they’re looking like they don’t fit at the pocket but that’s actually a little bag with a spare button in.

Kirstie : Oh no it’s another cord, a different cord.

Jade : So I can change that? Ooh I wouldn’t, I couldn’t be arsed to do that, feeding that through to be honest with you no. Couldn’t be bothered to do that, wouldn’t be bothered there but there is that option there if you want to so there’s that! I like that fit, I think my bum looks juicy, there you go I’m a big fan of them. Are we done?

Yas (Off-Camera) :  Yeah.

Leisa (Off-Camera) : No I’ve just put this on.

Jade : Leisa’s got another, she’s still going! She’s still going!

Yas (Off-Camera) : We have a lot of knitwear, there are a lot of options.

Leisa : It is just, they did say get knitwear! Yas did throw this at me.

Yas (Off-Camera) : That looks really cool.
