VAL - We're live! Hello ladies. What time is it? We're early, 4:00. That's not too bad, is it? We're liking these early shows, we hope you are. I think it's because it's going dark. If we do it like at half five, it just feels like we're doing it at midnight. And we've got way more energy at this time of the day. And for those who've seen an early show, you know what mischief we can get into when we do an early show. We thought today because we just get inspired occasionally, when we pick up a piece and we go, "Do you know what? We haven't shown PLU for ages, and we love it."

Given the fact that the weather now is changing, so we want to layer up, and actually that's a good thing because I don't know if yesterday for those who live in the UK, it was like really cold and then we had a bit of a warm peak in the afternoon. What's that all about? And then it went cold again, so it's very nice to layer, so you can just think, right, I'll take this off. So, I've gone all out PLU. This is very signature PLU. I've got the oversized top on.

I absolutely love Brown shades for the winter. It suits my colouring and I think it's just a nice lift on top of Black. And what Denise has done, the designer, she's put some absolutely gorgeous little features. She's got the Black running through the sleeve. She's put a cuff on and it's darker when you turn it up. Just lots of lovely little details. You've got your pockets. The length is perfect for a dress which has got the tulle at the bottom to it, and I love to wear an oversized piece with a tulle skirt. 

It's amazing, isn't it? Yeah, and she also says that she prefers the live shows early, just before supper time. Yeah. I think we're all a bit more awake. It's the winter thing, isn't it? You're all a bit, you know, Jade and I have just said, "Shall we...?" Jade's moved in with me. Now, then. We thought it'd be dreadful. You don't mind me being honest with you, Jade. No, you go on, mum, you've already started now. We thought it'd be dreadful, because really, you get to an age where you shouldn't live with your kids. But it's really nice. Don't tell her I said that. It's really nice. I've gone straight back into mother-hen mode. I can't help myself. And of course, Minna Mae is with us as well. I could I heard her wake yesterday morning. It wasn't so early, I think it was quarter seven, is it, Jade? And I got out of bed and raced to be the first to get her up. Oh! And Jade's like, "Yes, thanks, mum, I'll have a lie in." "Loving this." Yes, it's it's really, really nice, but don't tell Jade I said that.

I've got the DRESS on with a tulle finish. Absolutely love it. Love it with big oversized pieces. It's a proper winter piece. We have got it in this colour as well, which I may show you, depends how much time we've got. But I am going to show you this tulle dress with lots of other pieces on top so you can see how to play with it.

I'm in a medium tulle dress. I could possibly go down one, but I like it to be oversized and it gives me a little bit more length, so I've got it down to mid-calf. I've got the SORT AARHUS BOOT on, which are the matching colours, because we're good at this, you know, when we go buying  SORT AARHUS, we're like, "Right, we want it all to work together." So, you can pick from all the different colours. I don't think there's any more to say about it, is there? I think I've covered it all. The back's got little design on it, isn't that cool? Yeah, the tally charts on. What's this stuff? It's the seventh season. That's what it is. I was going to put that on as well. They're also absolutely awesome with a great big scarf on, but not now.

PAULA - Well, I can say good afternoon rather than good evening. How are we all? So, I've gone with PLU plus MANUELLE GUIBAL. I'll start with my feet, as is my want. I'm in the SORT AARHUS. I have to help having these on because I got sexy socks on, and I had to have some help. So, there you go. Look at those, little Bobby Dazzlers. Give you a lovely ankle. You see my socks sticking out, don't look at those. Comfortable, size 38, PLU pants. Now, I'm in medium, but I definitely could do a small. But they've got a little bit of stretch, so they're going to be nice. I haven't seen those before, they're really gorgeous. Yeah, they're nice, aren't they? Little stretch, couple buttons, small zip. No side pockets, but they've got pockets down here, which is a lovely addition. Just gives it a little bit of a different look. Pockets at the back, with a nice flap over them.

AndI couldn't resist using this because I've got the ANNETTE GÖRTZ EDDO BAG on and I think the colours are lovely together. Let me just put this down. And the jacket is beautiful. It's got like a square,  you've got it gives you that lovely shape, it draws you in, and it's got that lovely back to it So, quite a bit of detail. It's a stiff cotton. Nice little pockets here, it is denimy, yeah. Yeah, it is. It's nice stretch denim, though, so it's got a lovely give. It's just beautiful. But it hangs really nicely. I love the collar up like that. And I

I'll take the jacket off. Hidden buttons and I like that look nice. And the MANUELLE GUIBAL jumper is T1, and I would probably prefer T0 because it's a little bit big on me. But... Look at that, it's cashmere, everything I want next to my skin. I was going to say something else, but it's not Friday. The neckline is delicious. It's close to my neck, but it doesn't feel [chokes slightly]. Soft as. That's the back. The colour is stunning. It's beautiful. And  this MANUELLE GUIBAL also comes in a cream and a grey. They're my favourite uh polo neck that we sell in the shop. I love them. Nice. Right, I think we've got Kirstie on now.

KIRSTIE - I'm in PLU too. I’ve got the jacket on, this is one size. It's got the same print as Val had on, it's got the it's got seven little marks. Everybody's so quiet.  We've all gone silent. You're admiring your beautiful outfit. It looks really, really lovely. And then I've put this PLU pullover on, which is lovely. This is one size as well. Fits lovely. Got the detail in the back. Goes lovely over this skirt. I think we've had this every season, haven't we? Yeah, they they're just an absolute winner. Cause they're adjustable. Yeah, you can do the length or however you can just bring it up, so it gives it that curve.

KIRSTIE - Yeah, this is extra small. It's quite thin. It's thinner than the jumper. But it'll go from season to season. You could even put underneath or like my RUNDOLZ MAINLINE top under, showing the cuffs. And then, we haven't had these boots in store. You couldn't spy them, could you? No, not the shop girls. I know, socks. So, these are like the Crocs on the Crocs on them. They're the same platform height as the Crocs, yeah, but they're a boot style. Yeah. So you've got the stretch leather at the top, making your ankles look super thin. Yeah

YASMIN - I'm really enjoying having PLU with me today. I think I'll be I'm in that kind of mood where I'll just sit on the camera all for the entire show. I'm in my favourite colour brown, and as you all know, I'm absolutely obsessed with the Turf and RUNDHOLZ MAINLINE. And I'm just shocked that I've not experimented more with the PLU because obviously, a lot of the pieces are this beautiful washed chocolate brown. The pieces that I'm wearing are slightly darker to the jumper that I had on in the first outfit. That was the lighter wash. I really like this deeper, more chocolatey colourway. I think it's absolutely gorgeous.

YASMIN - I think we should celebrate the fact that it's Denise from PLU seventh season because you can really see such a remarkable move on from her first collection. Huge developments in terms of what fabric she's using, the silhouette, the shapes, it's all really, really exciting. So, I've chosen one of my favourite pieces from the collection, which is this bomber style jacket. I absolutely love these. She kind of incorporates like this taffeta kind of feel to her outerwear, which feels a little bit more dressy and elevated, but it's still practical. It's definitely a puffer for the outside world. It's really, really warm, even though it's cropped and basically like half of a coat. Definitely not the size of the RUNDHOLZ MAINLINE ones. It's still really padded and insulated, so it keeps you nice and snuggly

YASMIN - It's one size as well, which I think is amazing because you don't really the sizes don't really change much. I think if it went from extra small to extra large, it looks great and oversized on most people that have tried it on. I love how boxy and wide it is here, so it really if you are wearing a fitted piece underneath, it accentuates the waist.

VAL - I think it might be worth losing the scarf, Yas, to see the jacket.

YASMIN - Yeah, I was just going to say, I'm going to take that off now. This is the Turf from MAINLINE. Gorgeous scarf. It's probably the lightest scarf that we have in the Turf because the fabric's slightly thinner than the Racoon. This is the Racoon. And actually, the Racoon is more of a purpley colourway rather than true chocolate brown, like this one. So, it works, it just doesn't add too much bulk.

YASMIN - The code for this one is 1337708 and it's RUNDHOLZ MAINLINE as I said. But works beautifully with the Chocolate. And there's the puffer. Let's do the full monte. Let's zip it up. Two-way zip, got the contrast black cuff and on the hemline here, but I love the fact that it's two-way so you can undo that and just lengthen. Not right. Not working? I don't even need a layer underneath, really.

VAL - I love that Jacket Yas,I feel like I need to try that on.

YASMIN - It's really, really cool. The kind of thing you could dress up and dress down, but it would still be a practical everyday piece. It’s really insulated, and look at that lining. I just love Brown, I’m actually obsessed with it, I think it’s so flattering on so many women and I think it just goes with more colours than Black.

VAL -  Well black can be a bit harsh depending on your skin tone

YASMIN - Yeah! Oh that’s cool as well. Oh she’s done a tie detail at the side here,

VAL - So you can make it narrower

YASMIN - Love that too! It sinches me in, she’s so good at creating a statement piece that you can wear in multiple different ways so you can really get your pence per wear. Oh I love that, and it doesn’t create bulk at all. If you are a bit more petite and can’t do a more oversized style, it would still work for you

YASMIN - Let's do it up! You see how that looks like? Look how cool that is. I love the two-way zip thing. That's gorgeous. Really nice. And they are waterproof as well, although, if you want a hood, put it on that one. Oh!

VAL - We've got the backpack. Look at the backpack.

YASMIN - I like it when it has these. I mean how can these make it look cooler?

VAL - It’s when you go into the big stores and they’ve got the heating on full, I could lose it completely. Your wanting to shop but then you’ve got your Coat you want to de-robe, yeah, shopping back in action.

YASMIN- Yeah. Love that, and they are elasticated, which feels fun. I love that. Okay, and then underneath, love this length cropped jumper from PLU. This is she's always done this. This really comfortable cotton sweatshirt fabric that just you'll wear and wear and wear all season. It's so hard wearing because it is that sweatshirt material, and because it's got all this distressed dye, it looks better, more battered and worn, and it wears very heavy, which I know, because I wear my clothes very heavy.

YASMIN - Love the kind of cape detail at the back there, and it's finished with this ribbed trim and distressed frayed edges at the front. I just love a cropped silhouette when you're wearing a big oversized trouser. I think that's a really flattering silhouette. I've styled it with the RUNDHOLZ MAINLINE T-SHIRT in Turf. However, we are sold out, so we won't go into detail, but do know if you've got it in your wardrobe, it works really good with the Chocolate. And then these trousers are one of many drop crotch sweatpants styled from PLU this season, and I love them because they literally feel like loungewear, but the coolest kind of loungewear that you can possibly ever own. They are elasticated the whole way around the waist. So, super, super comfortable. I think I'm in size small in the trousers. Top is one size. And they've got all that distressed dye detail, nice drop crotch. And I like that the drop crotch has this kind of gathered detail on the inside of the seam, so the fabric folds inwards.

VAL - And the cross is detachable?

YASMIN - Yes, every time you see the PLU patch, you can remove it

VAL - So I’ve stayed in the dress, but it’s just to show it in lots of ways. This is RUNDHOLZ Jacket. I’m a mad fan of boiled wool, especially when he does the seams on the outside edge. Love this detailing around the hem, I just think it’s so cool, I absolutely love it, I’ve got loads of Jackets like this. Just another look, which is very different from the look before, I wanted to just show you the coat, what brilliant colouring. This is BLACK LABEL. This colour is just magnificent. I love the tie details, you’ve just got the tulle dress pocking out the bottom. Which just makes it more subtle, it’s a really uplifting pink for the winter.

PAULA - Well, I thought as I mentioned the MANUELLE GUIBAL in the cream, I’d show you. I’ve teamed it up with PLU jersey trousers, because I really wanted that really luxurious casual look, so you feel really cozy, the oversized look. The pant is a size small, they’re very very soft jersey, and it feels beautiful. Again, side pockets which we all love, and pockets at the back. They are elasticated, the waist has quite a wide band on it, and I’ve done a little French tuck to give extra length. It’s beautiful, really luxurious.

So I’m doing a bit of layering, this is a medium, this is the BLACK LABEL CARDIGAN.

LYDIA (OFF CAMERA) - I think that Cardigan looks very DIP like.

PAULA - It does. It’s just so handy, it’s just got a really nice shape to it. You can just throw it on, and it’s comfortable. Pockets again, which we all love, you just throw it on and it’s just that lovely movement. Covers a multitude of sins, it’s cosy. I fold the cuffs over just to make sure some of the colour comes through. It’s just such a beautiful piece on its own, but I just want to show it off.  I’ve got the medium dress on, it a one sized pullover.

VAL - So I did say I’d show you this piece with the brown tulle dress. It looks quite different, it’s absolutely stunning. All one colour, along with the brown boots, this is the way I’d wear it. I love all the warmth of the colours together. Absolutely love it, it’s effortless to wear, its all stretchy fabric, even the dress

YASMIN - Right, well I’m in a size large, but hopefully you can see the look. I love the denim from PLU this season, every style is quite different, we’ve got two Jackets and two trousers. This jackets obviously more of a fit and flare kind of piece, but the detail in it is beautiful. I loved this washed, distressed denim that she’s gone for. You can see it’s more faded in certain areas, with deeper black or dark grey in others. It’s the classic PLU silhouette, the fitted sleeve, fitted waist and then the flared peplum hem. Which she has attached some netted tulle to the underneath, I think it adds a bit of structure to the piece and an extra bit of texture. I love the neckline and how that stands up really straight, because it’s got the hood attached, just very generous, but it adds a collared effect. It’s got distressed hemlines and cuff details, and also on the pockets too, they’re really cut beautifully to flatter the waist. 

Well, let me just un-turn the waist band of the PLU JEANS.

JADE (OFF CAMERA) - Tell you what, though, for a large, they're not enormous, are they?

YASMIN - They are they are stretchy as well, so I think they'd go further. Slightly drop crotch, and then they are like a kind of oversize draw... a really cool, isn't it? They’re great because they aren’t full length, they are actually supposed to be quite cropped.

JADE (OFF CAMERA) - If your more petite, I think they’ve be a real winner.

VAL (OFF CAMERA) - I want to try them on

YASMIN - They're kind of reversed as well, so you've got the waistband on the hem with the belt loops, and an upside-down pocket. That's me. I'm in a large right now, but I probably would normally I'd go for the small in these trousers.

VAL - This is the last outfit, ladies, I'm not steamed, forgive me, but I've steamed the wrong size. So, it's not from lack of effort. This is the medium. It just works perfectly. This Jacket with the tulle skirt. In fact, this Jacket works with everything. It's stunning. You've got all this detail at the front. I do wish it was steamed. It is better still when all of these pleats are perfectly steamed out. It’s stretchy, it's that lovely colour. I've buttoned it right up, so you get a tiny stand-up collars, big pockets. Not much more to say about it really, is there? It comes in Black as well it's a statement jacket. You put this on with anything. I mean, you know, all the trousers we've shown you, the skirts, it's wonderful. It's absolutely beautiful. And for sizing guide, this is a medium, and I'm probably I'm probably a size 13, between a 12 and a 14, so that gives you an idea of fit. And I've got a sizeable chest. That's me.
