Leah (Off-Camera) - We're Live!

Lydia - Happy Halloween from House of Valerie! It is Friday, it's Halloween, it's almost the weekend and we've got special guests. We've got Jill— not on, but we have Jill in the shop, which is so exciting. We've missed her very, very much and she's doing well. We have Alison, looking beautiful in what she has come in today.

Leah (Off-Camera) - (Laughter) I love it.

Lydia - Thank you. And I'm in some more MAMA B. Actually, I haven't chosen this outfit. This has been inspired by a customer who was in earlier, and Lisa loved her outfit so much. I wish I'd have seen it, because I didn't actually see her, I was hiding away upstairs in the office. But she apparently looked beautiful wearing this exact outfit, I think, which I'm very jealous about. It looks fantastic. Not something that I would have put together, so well done for the inspiration, whoever this gorgeous woman was.

So to start off with, I've got Moro and Cipolla, which is my favourite colour combo. Starting strong with a shawl scarf, dressed by Liesa, which was very weird, because usually it's me dressing her in the studio, wrapping her up in the scarves.

So this is the Stripe, which is contrasting to the stripe on my Memi top, which you can just see peeking through a little bit. So I will un-layer Liesa's gorgeous styling. It's in the Stripe. It's gorgeous! I love a stripe! MAMA B do a stripe so well.

Leah (Off-Camera) - They do.

Lydia - So, that was Segovia. Oh, I'm an idiot. She gave me the cuffs as well, and I forgot them. I was just about to say we do have matching cuffs, which imagine were part of this outfit.

My jacket is full Cipolla in a gorgeous velvet-like fabric. I love the textures this season from MAMA B. This is the Veloce, and we have seen her before, and she's beautiful. With a little peplum hem going round.

It's a shorter style, but not as fitted as some of the other jackets, which is nice. You get more of a boxy fit without too much length. So I love these. And you get a little collar, a little stand up cut out here, which is really lovely.

This is an extra small, I believe. And I just think it finishes off the outfit gorgeously and it matches my trousers perfectly.

Lydia - Underneath, I have got the Isili pullover in the Fleece in the Moro colour. It's so cosy. I actually have one of these myself! And they've got a hood! I love a hood. A little hood on something so cuddly and cosy as this is beautiful.

I will de-layer again. Liesa's not made it easy for me. Layer, layer, layer, layer.

Lydia - Thank you, Leah. Sorry, I'm just piling all of my stuff.

This is a Memi, and I never really go for the Memi, because the Baobab kind of does it for me for underneath my jackets, gives me a little roll neck, which I like. But if you don't like anything with too much going on here, because I know that a lot of women aren't such big fans of that, the Memi is a great option. And also if you don't want anything too fitted on the body, this is a great one. It's A-line, long sleeve, still gorgeously soft against the skin. And this is in the Stripe, which I think is a nice change, because we don't really do a stripe Baobab. I don't think we've done any stripe Baobab this time. So you can get your stripe in, and with a layer, as a as a layer, you can get the stripe peek out at the bottom, which is lovely.

And then my trousers are Bianco V and in the Cipolla colour, perfect match for the Veloce jacket I had on before. And I love them. Lovely.

I've got my own boots on, which are the brown—well, the Moro Sort Aarhus Lace-ups in the classic style. I haven't taken them off my feet, I don't think, since I opened the box, because they're so comfortable.

Leah (Off-Camera) - Can confirm that.

Lydia - I haven't taken them off. Absolutely love them. They are my daily boot for the Autumn/Winter. I don't think that's going to change any time soon. Everyone is going to have to pry me out of them when it starts getting into spring. Um, anyway, so, who's next?

Alison (Off-Camera) - Me! I'm coming from afar.

Lydia - Ah, you look gorgeous.

Lydia - I love that scarf.

Alison - Okay, okay. Lisa was just scarfing me. If that's a word, I'm not sure whether it is. Okay, so I'm actually wearing most of my own clothes that I've come in today. You come in and you get collared. And here I am. So, I'm wearing a combination of Turf and Crab. I did ask for um Turf shoes but I got black. Can't get the staff. That's what I was told to say. Okay.

So, cuffs, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful cuffs. Love the seam detail on the top, little thumb holes, beautiful, nice and soft, really warm and cosy. And they're in the Turf. The scarf, again, in the Turf and it's the one with the print on the front and the lovely warm wool backing. There we go. This is a half—is this a half or a third?

Leah - A half, I think.

Alison - Okay. So, you can imagine that the big one is pretty huge. Okay, I'll give that to Leah.

Then this is the Turf jumper with all the little nibbled bits around the bottom, which are so cute and lovely. Um, it's got a nice round neck. I've pulled it back a little bit just so that it's a bit cropped at the front to show off the lovely net of the Crab T-shirt.

I've got the long-sleeve T-shirt on, and I've just pulled the sleeves out there, because I'm a little bit of a sucker for little bits of detail and I think that looks quite cute. Then the trousers, the beautiful, beautiful trousers. I think everyone's got a pair of these in one colour or another. These obviously are the Crab ones, and I think these are a large. The T-shirt is an extra-large, and this is a medium.

Eloise - It looks gorgeous.

Alison - Okay. Lovely. Thank you very much.

Liesa - Good afternoon everybody! We have had a little delivery from MUNTHE. We have had three pairs of jeans, two jumpers and a cardigan so myself, Paula and Kirstie have got an outfit each out of it and we have just made it our own!

So, I have popped this beautiful HANNOH WESSEL coat over the top. It's beautiful. It's the crinkle Cotton in Tobacco. It's just so nice! I am in love with HANNOH WESSEL this season. I love the contrast against the blue denim. It just give you another way to wear it, a bit more casual. 

So we've got the flaps on the outside of the pocket which are very clever because when you put your hands in their still there. Lovely bit of detail. Cotton lined and features a double belt at the back. 

I think I have gone quite oversized with the fit. I am wearing a size 42 but that is how I would actually buy it. I like coats oversized.

I have gone for the cardigan from MUNTHE. Isn't it gorgeous?

Are these sized? The cardies?

Well, we have a 36, 38 and a 40.

They are oversized, so you could probably size down. 

It is Alpaca-Mix and the fibres are quite long and fluffy. 

It is slightly itchy but I can't feel it at all with the gorgeous MAMA B under piece on. Love the Baobabs.

So, here are one of the pairs of jeans. Aren't they amazing! I am wearing a size 36. They have two waistbands! So they are uber high. A lovely flared leg. They are the lightest jeans, they have plenty of stretch so they are really comfortable. They have a little zip and two poppers to keep them flat. This shows how light the denim is because normally - this shows how light the denim is because normally it would give you a lot of bulk here. It must be the popper that makes them flat.

So, I've paired it with this top of the week from La Vaca Loca, the Sigura with all the beautiful draping. Similar to how we twist our RUNDHOLZ tops. Really long sleeves so you can create a cuff effect.

Over to our Paula!

Paula - Well, hello, hello, hello. Friday afternoon. What's going on at Halloween? So, yeah, I'm in the MUNTHE. Same size as Liesa, but I've got the grey pant on. Obviously the top is very different. It's got the Cord.

Eloise - These trousers are incredible.

Paula - They are.

Let me tell you, when they were brought downstairs, because the the e-commerce team had been photographing ready for the website, and Lisa has been modeling them. When they brought them down, I was, "Oh, I'm not really sure," because for me, they weren't hanger-friendly. I put them on, it was, "Oh, oh."

So, they fit like a glove. They skim your bum, so they're very, very flattering. They've got beautiful weight without them being heavy. And they just feel beautiful. And then there is if you prefer, you can got a black cord rather than this colour.

Eloise (Off-Camera) - And does the cord go all the way around the back? Can you fully adjust the trousers with the cord?

Paula - Yeah, you just take it out and then weave it in. And they've got these little like duffel buttons. Like I used to have on a duffel coat. And then if you want to bring it in a bit more, then surely you can.

Eloise (Off-Camera) - That's so cool. I always struggle, I don't know about anyone else, with the, do you know, the little gap at the back of your waist. 

Paula - Yeah. So, that will pull you in if you need to. Very, very nice!

And I'm wearing the trusty Baobab from MAMA B. I'm in XL because I'm lazy and just took it off the rail and one of our ladies is waiting for me to take it off because she wants to buy it. They're just so handy. 

And the MUNTHE cardigan, made from Alpaca. I couldn't wear this without an under piece because my skin is very sensitive. I have had it on for a little bit on and I thought it was going to itch but it doesn't so that's a plus for me!

I think the colour is really nice. It picks up the gold on the stitching and fits nicely into my waist. Overall, I think it's lovely. I'm really happy with it!

Oh! What size am I in? 36 in everything apart from the extra large top. On my feet are the Sort Aarhus boots.

Kirstie - I've got new jeans on! And a new top on but I'm not showing you that - I'm going to show you this coat because I thought I needed to be "wintered up". I feel like I'm ready for tonight now! This is called the Susurro from La Vaca Loca. It is Black and a size extra small. Also it is reversible but this is the side I would wear it.

Eloise (Off-Camera) - Oh wow! Imagine that at the Christmas Markets.

Kirstie - Right, let me show you the cardigan. The cardigan is the same as Paula's in the size 36. Oh - it is beautiful. We have all fallen in love with them. I love the colour - it will go with everything. It goes great with the dark jeans from MUNTHE. Same jeans as Paula but I have the darker wash on and I think they work for me. I'm slightly shorter than Paula but I'm wearing them with a chunky platform boot from Sort Aarhus.

I've got the Boabab from MAMA B on in extra small.

Great thing is you can draw these drawstrings in and adjust the waist size and leg length!

Lydia - I have just had a very judgemental look from Eloise because she's gone "Is that your outfit?"

Eloise (Off-Camera) - That you have turned up to work in!

Lydia - Yes - this is my Halloween look! Or my everyday look!

I absolutely love it! So this is the Romi coat.

Oh and by the way, we have MDA watching - it's Hannah! Hi Hannah!

So, like I said, this is the Romi coat. This is a size Small so it just shows the size, I mean they are oversized anyway so going up one size probably won't make the biggest of differences. It's gorgeous! The cut is fab. I love the fact it has a collar, which is different to the Azimut coat from MAMA B. It is a little bit more of a straighter fitting than the Azimut, which is more of a cocoon style. So you have the choice of the two. This one also has no frayed edges so it is a little bit "cleaner".

It also comes in black. Such a classic. Absolute staple winter coat.

So this is basically my outfit.

I have swapped my trousers which is a little bit of work but this is my own jacket - it is the Adel style. 

The Adel jacket in the print is my favourite! It is a little bit more fitted but if you're styling it with a wider trouser like the Lipsia or Nuccia. I just find it evens everything out and creates a balance.

On the bottom, these are the Lipsia style which have gorgeous seam details at the bottom which create a lovely shape. Really flattering!

Same boots because they do go with everything and if you do like your Autumnal brown colours, these a perfect!

Liesa - So I have gone for a bit of RUNDHOLZ BLACK LABEL today. Mixed with the RUNDHOLZ MAINLINE pumps - I must admit these are my own but I think they go really well because you have the sheen on the patent pump and the sheen on the faux fur jacket. 

Be quick with the faux fur jackets because they sell out really fast! Especially as its getting to Christmas time.

This is my favourite of the two styles because I like how the collar stays up. 

It's a great size - works well over everything!

So underneath, I've gone for a techno fabric jacket. This is one of the more fitted ones - gives you a lovely waist. I am in extra small. It has a dogtooth print on the fabric. Hopefully that is coming across on camera! 

It is just gorgeous. 

I have paired it with black to tone it down a little bit but if you want to be brave, we have matching trousers.

The trousers I am wearing are from RUNDHOLZ BLACK LABEL - a classic balloon shape with pockets at the front and back.

Underneath I have styled it with the top of the week, the Mama B Baobab is back. This is the top you need. It is so soft, very fine and lightweight but warm.

Liesa - Here's Paula!

Paula - I've gone for Sort Aarhus boots, suit and RUNDHOLZ DIP underneath. I thought the suit went really well with the colour of the boot. They are a high boot and have plenty of room on the calf. 

The trousers are a size medium but I would probably size down by one for my perfect fit. Not an itch at all against my skin - it is very comfortable. 

Just wanted to show you a different way to style this knitted pullover from Sort Aarhus and the DIP shirt does the job.

Kirstie - I think I'm the last one now. I've kept the jeans on because I love them! I love denim and black together so I've styled it with the Annette Görtz leather pullover.

Paula - Are we all done?

Liesa - Yes - ready to go!

I have just popped on the RUNDHOLZ MAINLINE pullover in Silk. The sleeves are quite long but if it was me, I would secure the sleeves with a cuff, one stitch or something similar.
