For Autumn/Winter ’26, denim runs through both RUNDHOLZ MAINLINE and RUNDHOLZ DIP, reworked through sculptural proportions, garment-dyed finishes, unexpected texture and the kind of artisanal detailing that makes even the most recognisable wardrobe staple feel completely different.
From softly weathered Ginger and earthy Clay to hand-painted Gold, this season moves denim away from traditional blue and into a richer, more autumnal palette.
Jackets and trousers are designed to work together, but perhaps more importantly, to become the foundation for the layered, individual way of dressing that defines RUNDHOLZ.
DENIM, THE RUNDHOLZ WAY
Denim has become an important canvas, a familiar fabric that gives the designers freedom to experiment with colour, finish and, above all, silhouette.
For AW26, RUNDHOLZ MAINLINE takes denim in a more sculpted direction.
Stretch brings softness and movement to shapes that would traditionally feel much more rigid, while distressed garment-dyeing creates the weathered, already-lived-in quality that runs through the collection.
The Straight-Leg Drop-Crotch Denim Trouser in Ginger Cloud captures that perfectly.
A deep rise and relaxed straight leg are shaped through panel seams and exaggerated patch pockets, while the warm Ginger Cloud wash gives the denim a softer, earthier character.
We love them worn full length, but a generous turn-up completely changes the proportion, exactly the kind of small styling adjustment that makes RUNDHOLZ so personal to wear.
DOUBLE DENIM, DONE DIFFERENTLY
Forget the old rules around double denim. AW26 makes a very good case for wearing it from head to toe.
Pair the Ginger Cloud trouser with the RUNDHOLZ MAINLINE Fitted Stretch Denim Jacket and the contrast in proportion does the work. The jacket is slim and sculpted, with a concealed two-way zip, panelled construction and utility-inspired pockets, while the trouser sits much looser below.
Keeping both pieces within the same weathered colour story makes the pairing feel intentional rather than overly matched.
It is also where the stretch denim really comes into its own.
With 2% elastane, both pieces retain the character and structure of denim while offering considerably more flexibility than traditional rigid jeans, particularly useful in that close-fitting jacket.

The Gold Painted Straight-Leg Denim Trouser in Ginger Gold brings one of AW26's most distinctive finishes to an everyday fabric, using hand-painted gold pigment to transform denim into something that sits somewhere between clothing and art.
That juxtaposition is what makes it work.
The foundation is still denim, easy, familiar and wearable, but the metallic surface completely changes how we see it, it makes it edgy, stand out from the crowd, everything House of Valerie stands for.
Rather than saving it for evening, we'd style the Gold denim exactly as we would the rest of the collection, with a simple fitted layer, oversized knit or coordinating jacket and let the finish become the focus.
Gold appears as an accent across the MAINLINE AW26 story, alongside deep Black, Umbra, Petrol, Purple and warm Ginger, making it feel less like embellishment and more like another colour within the collection.
DENIM, WITH A LITTLE FUR
What happens when the toughness of denim meets something altogether softer?
The Cropped Faux Fur-Trim Denim Jacket in Terracotta Cloud combines a wide, cropped silhouette and utility-inspired detailing with an oversized asymmetric collar finished in removable faux fur.
And it completely changes the denim.
The faux fur has been developed tonally to sit alongside the garment-dyed colour rather than contrast against it, adding warmth and texture while retaining that earthy, weathered feeling running throughout DIP this season. Remove the collar and the same jacket becomes a very different piece.
Pair it with the Clay Cloud wide-leg trouser and you get exactly what RUNDHOLZ does so well: different tones, textures and proportions that don't technically 'match', but somehow look better because they don't.
