PLU
Häufig gestellte Fragen
PLU is a German label created by a designer who previously worked at RUNDHOLZ. You can see that background in the confident proportions, experimental layering and grungier edge of the collection.
PLU plays with proportion: oversized pullovers, big trousers, heavy sweatshirts, net and mesh details all sit naturally within its relaxed, slightly grungy aesthetic.
The label began with a strong focus on high-quality stretch jersey and now experiments with stretch denim in different washes, alongside heavier sweatshirt fabrics, nets and mesh.
PLU offers a broad size range, roughly XXS to XXL, and the pieces are generally generous. Stretch is a recurring feature, so the collection is designed to feel comfortable rather than restrictive.
Yes. Comfort and everyday ease are central to the collection, although PLU also creates pieces that feel more dressed-up or evening-ready.
The PLU patches are a signature design feature. They fasten with buttons, so you can remove them completely or swap in a different fabric or colour patch to change the look of a piece.
Yes. The designer works with a community of women in Turkey who make her beaded jewellery from locally sourced beads, resin and plastics, following designs she creates.
No. PLU jewellery is carried forward into future collections rather than reduced, and the core basics are also excluded from sale.
PLU works especially well with RUNDHOLZ. Both share a more experimental, grungy approach to proportion and layering, so the pieces can be mixed without losing the strength of either look.
The label is still relatively young and collections can evolve through the season. If you are looking for a particular piece or size, contact us and we can advise on availability.
